i did the same with my intake but if u dont already know this, if u dont wear yourseat belt press the red button wear it clicks into , and u wont hear a bong
i got a 2000 ford excursion with straight pipes on it and i riped open the plastice between the radiator and the original air opening along with a k&nfilter. mmmm sounds mean makes the ladies cream....like a nascar when u romp on it.
7.3 Powerstroke will get over 20 mpg on the highway - with plenty of power. Dead stock mine went 2.11 60', 11.07 660', and 17.50 @ 82 mph 1/4 mile. Truck had 8K miles.

Ya those excursions are something. Ive got one with a v10 in it and it hauls ass! only problem is it gets 10 miles a gallon. But shit the powers worth it.
i have a 2003 ford excursion, exact same thing with the triton 5.4L V8. it has a few mods, headers, intake, chip, exhaust system,fuel management system, and a few more things..mine does 0-60 in about 5 or 6 seconds sometimes less depending on fuel octane levels and the chip program i am using. i have ran against diesels and v10s and they got left in the dust...im planning on supercharging it and putting videos of it very soon
Love the rims i got a 2006 excursion v10 gas with intake system gibons performance exhaust lifted with fabtech but different rims. Only thing is why did u go with 5.4 thats what my f-150 has
Very nice truck, but it seems like the 5.4 (even with mods) is too small for something like an Excursion. I knew someone who had a diesel version and it had ok power, but I bet the V10 is even better.
it wulda been sick if u had tha 7.3l powerstrock diesel v8.....but even with out its still a badass suv
