  • why is everybody so staidly complimentary? you seem like plants, just so you know.

    but yeah I saw her on Tony Bourdain. Good idea to cook thematically what you have experienced a lot as a child, though on the show she made herself seem sort of damaged. Food looks LOOKS delicious.

  • Prune is the best restaurant in NY for me, it holds up and although her fare has been copied many times since she opened, Gabrielle's menu always feels like a revelation

  • real foodies, unpretentious people eat at her place. it's really good.

  • One of the few truly approachable chefs. Most of my fellow culinary students have bloated egos and those are just the pastry chefs. Her restaurant was dazzlingly elegant yet simple. I was even impressed by how when she beat Bobby flay on Iron Chef she took her time to carefully select her ingredients even with the time limit.

  • i also watched iron chef and was amazed by her recipes. the more info i read on her the more im impressed.

    i want to eat at prune the next time i visit new york

  • i want her Zuchini recipes from Iron Chef vs Hamilton on July 20, 2008 they looked wonderful.
