Nice video i just started using the oils same ones as yourself. I have sisterlocks. So far i love them...still experimenting with essential and carrier oils.
I just purchased today: orange, rosemary, peppermint, jojoba and almond oil to use as a mist for my locs. I read jojoba or almond not both- whatdaya think of this concontion?
@TheSkyhazFallen i think that could be just fine. just be careful with peppermint and rosemary-- they can be very dominant, so much so that you smell more like candy than fruit. LOL
I think i'm going mad i was nodding at the screen while you were talking as i have heard some of the warnings that you mentioned. I only have Lavender which i put on the pillow at my totm for restful sleep. Thank you for bringing the knowlege, much more fun than googling :P but i will read more.
Thank you...love your videos. They are sooo helpful! Can you do something as far as how to prepare, mix. etc. Better with water, or with a carrier oil? Perhaps some recipes for softness, smell, etc. Look forward to your next installment!
very informative. I too use and love essential oils. I have several-rosemary, lavender, ylang ylang just to name a few. You are right that there is instruction and guidance needed when using these oils, but if knowledge and attention is used when applying these oils, they are and can be most useful. I love them and use them many different ways.

Could I use extra virgin olive oil & water for right now and still get great results for my locs and scalp until I experiment with other oils? Thanks

i agree. there must be some thought behind our choices when it comes to EO's. especially if one has a lengthy medical history.
