Do you use the Flaperons on this ??? Wondering if I should set this up for slower landings or not ? Still building mine and would like to know if flaperons are better?
@twhiteman42 yes...I use flaperons...its the only way it can land. Its quite a slippery airframe. The little Sundowner lands really well though, even with the APC 14x14 prop on it idling at 2100 rpm on the 30cc Syssa that is in it! It flies great..and no weigh added. Just had to put the RX battery near the rudder. Some said this engine would be to big and heavy for this plane. No way. It is a blast to fly and has over 50 flights on it easy with no problems.
