because the DC10 is old aircraft and not safe anymore and not efficient

@DinamiteBoy90 Because @ 1997, the "Asian Financial Crisis" hit garuda and Indonesia hard. So they had no choice but to discontinued the flight to Europe and North America. Because of that, the airliner such as DC-10 and MD-11 are sold.
