Of course she changed. Everyone does. No one is forever the same person. That's because of the many things in our life that influence our personality.

But back in the days a lot of ppl complained. They thought she was to serious and blah ... Now she changed like everyone does from 18 to 25 and now ppl start to complain: ''give us our old avril back'' - That's so stupid!

No one stays the same always. If she HADN'T matured in the last however many years its been now then something would be wrong.

I changed more in my life in the ages between 18 to 21 (I'll be 25 in a month) then I changed in my entire life, understandably too.

For one, she is a much better singer now as is apparent from this video.

I'm not really a fan of her 'personality' but she's definitely getting more likable and real.

I've seen plenty enough to know that shes slightly fake. I say only slightly because I don't think shes doing it intentionally. I mean it in the sense that she doesn't seem to have a strong personal confidence to the point where she really knows where who she is.

But I take that back in a way, thats the Let Go day Avril I'm talking about. She seems to have grown up which was my original point.

I just wanted to add that even though I am .. or wasn't.. whatever, a fan of her personality and I don't really become a fan of people who don't write their own music at least 99% of the time and 99% of it (covers are fine and the occasional song co-writen) that doesn't mean I dont' think shes a great proformer.

I understand that out of every song on the album, this is the one she wrote the most of and if that's the case then I would say her talent is going to waste b/c this IS an amazing song.

She looks AND sounds gorgeous here. She dumped the "I'm so punk" overhaul and she seems so much more comfortable like this. This is what I'm talking about. In her own skin = freedom.
