  • I live in fruita! We have a festival every year for it (small town)

  • @ 13:05 Bill makes the words "frodo lap shame" with 14 letters left making 27 letters in total. At almost precisely 6 min later, (19:07) Bill makes the words "gay elf sex romp" with 10 letters left over making a total of 20. 7 less letters than previously. Jimmy quite clearly took those 7 letters. Definitely something not right there and Jimmy got points for it. He just came up with something comical and made it happen. Not nearly as clever as if he had stuck to his own letters.

  • @MPAH1981 If you look when they zoom out after showing bills letter board his 7 missing letters are on his desk in front of him, therefore, Jimmy didn't cheat.

  • @x1337H4X0Rx That just proves where Bill's extra letters were, not that Jimmy didn't cheat. There's more to it I believe.

  • They should've pre-arranged the letters of everyone, except Alan, to spell a whole sentence, like Jimmy's did, and have Alan just sitting there in a daze.

  • In another episode of QI they said the word "hello" game from a Hungarian meaning something else, apparently because the assistant or someone was hungarian?

  • This is a great lineup, but it's almost too good. With 4 strong personalities, you can see sometimes funny remarks get passed over.

  • THAT'S UNBE-FUCKING-LIEVABLE!

  • One of my favorite lineups on QI.

  • 04:20 "Is that where they got the idea for ____?" Can anyone make out what Jimmy Carr is saying there? Since first seeing the Smarties-tubes thing, I've been hanging on his every word...

  • @ELuhn The best I can make of it is "Is that where they got the idea for sticks down their bums?" Sounds ridiculous though.

  • @ELuhn "Is that where they got the idea of making things out of their bums?" according to someone's transcript

  • I usually say Oh-lo when i answer the phone

  • I met a fellow who looked like Phil Jupitus in the bar the other day. I was excited as it was a "Dr. Who" inspired bar and quite the nerd hangout and I assumed he would know of who I was speaking. He hadn't a clue. I went on trying to explain the wonders of Qi, to a drunken, pushy American fat man with glasses and a witty shirt. Oh well.

  • Mr. Bailey is saying hello in 15:48

  • this is a bad episode to bewatching while eating your meal.

  • Amazing guests!

  • I for some reason answer the phone by saying "Yellow?" rather than hello. Force of habit that I can't get out of. And how Jimmy came up with that anagram I have no idea. He must be some kind of sorcerer. That's the only conclusion I can come too.

  • Did someone already correct stephen's hilarious pronounciation of "Fruita"? It's actually "Fruit-a"

  • Love how they all mock him for saying we still use "Hullo" in the sense of surprise today, then no more than 2 minutes later he says "Oh hullo what have we got here" when Jimmy show's his letters and no-one bats an eyelid!

  • Vagina Doom! xD

  • @quite1interesting

Thanks so much for putting up all these vids. You make the world a better place!

  • FOX!

  • 18:28 Jimmy's anagram is one of the best moments in QI history!

  • @darijoe One of the finest moments in human history.

  • flaucinaucihilipafilification

  • what was that word Joe uses around 15:15?

  • @kamatej flaucinaucihilipafilification

  • @kamatej floccinaucinihilipilification

  • I love how, right after the whole phone/hello debacle, Stephen actually says "hullo" when he sees Jimmy's anagram.

  • As always, thank you!

  • stephen fry = utterly adorable. especially when he's saying "you beast!" and sulking.

  • @ahenmaxtae O Stephen Fry, the most charming man in the world.

  • Jimmy's phase is pretty damn great!

  • Thanks for uploading.

  • I've been waiting for this all week thanks for the upload

  • I had never heard of the word "quim" before this episode. My life is now significantly improved.

  • @Preeemo

QI often improves my life, too. It's both funny and interesting, and you learn new stuff to impress/annoy your friends with. :)

  • @Preeemo I had "heard" about it before. I read it, actually. At first I thought it was some weird, Welsh word I'd never heard of before: cwm. I had no clue what that was. Imagine my shock when I learned. ;)

  • @Preeemo

And Qi does it's thing once again!

  • Like if you looked up MikeTheHeadlessChicken. :)

  • @purplegiraffehunting I "liked" Mike on FB!

  • Pandas are within the biological order of Carnivora (as are all bears).

This doesn't make them carnivores, however, nor are all carnivores part of Carnivora.

    It's an interesting taxonomical group.

  • Great, now I have to watch it again. Another half an hour, gone. I can't help myself.

  • You should get rid of the other one, now.

  • Good video.
