  • I usually play twenty games and do fine with the same ball A Brunswick Siege all i do is just move my feet, and change my speed. however I think if i drop my speed to much i don't get as much strikes i don't know if its got to do with it.if more speed is better or not.

  • Hey guys.

Just another question for john. I have only just taken off my wrist device after 2 years of using it due to a stupid injury i happened to have. Now i am fully healed i want to go back to bowling without my Robby Rev's but i am having A LOT of issues getting my rev rate back up as well as my consistency. Since i am in Australia coaching here is minimal at best Any hints or tips since i know u are going though similar thing?

    Thanks Daniel Coffey

  • where can we send our questions to? beacause i have a few questions i would like to know but im not sure where to send them

  • @bahamarama22 questions@talkbowling(dot)com or on any Talk Bowling video

  • My question is... I started bowling with a 5 step approach. Switched to a 4 step approach. I feel like sometimes a longer approah may be the thing to do for speed revs or both. What is the difference, and how do you knbow when to move up or move back?

  • Thanks for helping. - Chris

  • Also, I'm having a hard time making my ball roll, instead of slide. My balls will just slide into the pocket, instead of sliding, and then rolling. Is there anything I can do to try and control my bowling balls?

  • Here's a question. I have a really aggressive Black Widow Sting, I'm standing on the lane next to me, just to hit high pocket. Should I buy a new ball, or should I switch to my even-more aggressive ball; The Reaction. I'm learning how to be more consistent , but it doesn't help the fact that in the early to middle 2nd game, the lanes transition to a really dry lane, which causes both of my aggressive balls to react with more hooking.

  • Last question meant for John. Was typing and talking to someone same time. Gotta hate that lol

  • I was always shown that u move your feet and mark at certain intervals to work with your angle of entry and ball release. For example 5 boards at approach 2 boards mark. Depends on the style and bowler of coarse. And a question for Tony. Any tips for gaining control for someone just starting to stop using a mechanical glove?? I find it alot easier to rev a ball without it but alot harder to hit a mark after 2-3 games. Any tips would be great. Thanks guys love the stuff

  • Variation of the first question: When should you just move your feet and when should you move both your feet and your target? Or should you always move your feet and your target?

Another question: Are there pros and cons to a longer or shorter finger drilling? I heard that with a shorter span your hand is more relaxed and you can get more revs on it. Does the shorter span help put less wear and tear on your thumb?
