I bet they lost cause they basically are too large a group and so seemed distracting to view. Presentation: how do u co-ordinate all those ppl of such different body sizes? Sexy sells, not rolly poly bodies. And of course that stage is too small to compliment them properly. They are really really very very good! I totally like and luv them. @Topcat595 I have a feeling that they didn't have enough time to get something as technically challenging as that for this final. Also, they might have been playing more for the public vote and so chose this song instead of something more techincally complex. I still think they should have won as they were the most consistant and concentrated on the singing and not the dancing (like Only Men Aloud did with "Don't rain on my parade).

2steps, we must share good ears when it comes to harmonization, but they were very very few mistakes...plus, with them singing two different verses on top of each other (which i think is really cool), you're bound to get a little something different...

It's a TV singing comp where the public vote (supposedly!), if this in the case, this group has an unfair advantage an all male, young and well balanced group of men singing well on a TV show as most of the voters are likely young and female? Even with a slightly classical 'twang' to all their perfomances, they still managed to pack in lots of vocal expression and performance technique to their add lots of interest. Outstanding performances

I have watched this video many times since it was first posted and continue to enjoy it. What I appreciate is the way that the choir moves through the gears with smoothness and power maintaining the driving rhythm. The balance of the girls voices in harmony with the boys is great.

these guys are fine, but they weren't at winning level.

the power they have is in numbers, and not in individual talent. that being said, they are all quite young, so their voices will strengthen in time.

this was such an obvious song as well. poorly chose for the finale.

I agree. Only Men Aloud are virtually a professional choir because they have recorded with Karl Jenkins and the Cory Band on This Land of Ours Cd in 2007 and their MD has collaborated with Karl Jenkins on his Requiem album.
