He's brainwashed. Most probably his social structure includes people who continually reinforce his belief system. I'm sure you're familiar with the experiences of people who have been in cults, and the difficulty they face in leaving. Its something that one video isn't going to change.
But yeah. I've pretty learned to take "you can't change my mind" as an admission of defeat, because it's only when they have no more arguments is when they seem to say it.

You can't argue with ignorance. Dogma/bigotry is fun isn't it? Self-centered or ethnocentric ego's are a waste of time to deal with in my opinion. It's a disgrace to the human race indeed.
I think the way to tackle this kind of thing with these types of people is to affirm that, yes, experience is knowing. It's the story-framework they've wedded it to that cannot be ascertained.
I guess it's just extreme stubbornness. Some people don't want to be wrong about certain things, so they refuse to listen to different points of view, and they stay close minded by doing that.

The other day, we had a substitute teacher in art class, and religion was brought up somehow or another. The teacher got involved in the debate and began ragging on my friend for being Agnostic. He was calling it a "chicken-shit way out" and just trying to down her reasons and ideas without letting her speak for herself. She was so pissed off, she was in tears. I want to show this video to that asshole teacher... If only I can find him again.... e.e
