  • They better clean this mess before hurricanes start, or it will get much worst.

  • Americans have no memory and hire an army of apologists to assure their population remain ignorant of any inconvenient truth.

Thus it will be BP that is demonized and when the people of the region all fall over with cancer or worse they will pave over their bones with another Walmart parking lot. within 10 years people will have no memory of it except the families of those that breathed in the Benzene clouds who were to poor or ignorant to move their families out of there.

  • Seriously, are people stupid saying this is Obama's fault or what? I don't even know what to say to that, and I'm really not huge on Obama, people are so stupid these days. I guess it's stupid people blaming the president for this that is the reason things like this happen in the first place though. They were probably the ones in charge of this operation in the first place.

  • @4NorthTL It's the same people who blamed Bush for Katrina. But at least Bush wavered the Jones act.

  • Fucking British.......

  • President Obama needs to take charge. No more tours or 'frank conversations' get a plan in place to stop the flow of oil! Watch this video - youtube.com/watch?v=FFUGv0iffe0

  • It doesn't matter who to blame. Work together and stop the spill! For god sakes, please. Ths is horrifying.

  • Blame Dick Cheney and Bush, Cheney changed the protocols for oil drilling and Bush obviously approved them or didn't care about them.

  • @fog0death blame cheney and bush ? Obama is in charge right now cupcake. Obama already admit he is in charge of this and bp is under his administration. Why would obama say this ? Why would i blame cheney and bush for obamas failure?

  • @yourboycal Because Cheney and Bush are the reason safety protocols were abolished. All countries have safety protocols incase such things as this happen, however Cheney wanted to remove this and Bush agreed. They must've wanted oil drilling as fast as possible and they didn't want to spend the extra money for the defences.

  • @fog0death Now that these safety protocols were abolished. The new president wouldnt have the courtesy or reenforce those? Did he forget ? Did he not care? Obama is the man in charge. If he really gave a shit about the safety protocals he would've done something about it . But leaving it alone then when shit hits the fan is no excuse to blame past presidents. America is silly because of people like you who blame others.

  • @fog0death Why didn't Obama reinstate them, after all he had more than a year and full support of the house and senate.

  • Comment removed

  • this is obamas fault hes just another dirty politican with dollor signs in his eyes

  • Yes. This is Obama's Katrina. The Gulf will die.

  • BP should be taxed into the fucking ground. This is unacceptable and an absolute FAILURE on their part.

  • When your silly messiah, elected on the strictly on the base of race and foreign money, leaves office in 2012 in disgrace to his race (whatever the hell it is), he will leave behind oily footprints behind. You who help elect this inept and inexperienced agitator to the highest office of our land, you too have oil on your hands.

  • @fjm1061 EPIC FAIL

  • well actually u cant compare... Bush had the resources to contain Hurricane katrina. Whats worst with the oil spill is that we dont have a govt department with the knowledge regarding oil clean up. A team of scientists. . Thats like having Hurricanee katrina without FEMa..after this spill, we now know we need to have scientists in this field and need to have a department. So we dont rely on the oil companies for clean up.

  • Obama's Job is to destroy America and built Isreal!!!

  • @shamsham1983 Yeah! Because we all know Obama was the cause of the oil spill! Let's shout random things with no factual evidence behind them! Troll it up! Paint the city red! Myuahaahahaha!

  • @Vilemk0 Hmm, how is that different than how Liberals blamed Bush for Katrinna.

  • @usam1981 Bush wasn't responsible for a fucking hurricane. He was responsible for acting slowly, and poorly to the crisis. We had the means for solution to that crisis, which is why I think it's idiotic to compare the two. Considering we don't have many tools to deal with our current situation. In the future, this will change I'm sure. Yet you have to agree that it's hilarious how idiotic bp has gone about it so far.

  • @Vilemk0 for a solution*

  • @Vilemk0 Yeah, but it did not stop Democrats for blaming it on him. Also, Obama was slower than Bush in reacting to this disaster, if you look past the lie that he has been there from the beginning.

  • @usam1981 I don't think that's the case because as I remember he was commenting on it the moment the spill was announced. (Might want to check your facts.) If you have any evidence against that, please do send it to me. I'm actually trying to stay on top of this story for a paper I'm writing. xD

  • @Vilemk0 Yeah, there is plenty of evidence. In truth, he did not comment the moment of the spill, he actually waited 2 weeks, then he mentioned it.

  • @usam1981 Besides the fact that he's stated that he's been on-top of it? The closest article I could find had a picture of him speaking about it on may 2nd. What they were doing before that I think is to early to determine. Obviously proof is more important that a statement. However if you're talking about a full public response? Yes, it was two weeks later. One thing I find weird is the lack of reporting on the eleven people that died in the incident.

Hardly even heard a thing about them.

  • Comment removed

  • @Vilemk0 *Than a statement (Edit)

  • Why are we forced by the environmentalists to drill at 5,000 feet below the surface of the Gulf, when plenty of surface oil remains just below ground in Alaska? Thanks for the regulations EPA. Thanks for not even attempting to stop this disaster Obama. Blame Bush, like always. Point your E.T. like finger at everyone else.

  • This should now be referred to as

    Oil-Gate

I'm just glad now, that they can show Obummer golfing, with a side picture of an oil covered bird.

    He's a ruler, not a leader.

  • @btwall60 like Bush didn't promised on NATIONAL TV that he would give up golfing for the troops...don't worry, Mitt Rommey will be President in 2012 and all things will be so GRAND

  • It's 40 days now and that shit is still spewing into the ocean.

Send down explosives and blow it shut.

Obama fails again, nothing to see here.

  • This will be Obama's 9/11

    Corporate Terrorism

    The Joy's of deregulation.

    Thanks George and Dick

  • How many people here know that BP was one of Obamas largest contributers leading up to his placement in the White house?

  • theres nothing obama can do about this.....he too bz watching the NBA playoffs!!!!! or watching shrek forever after.

  • @ButtErBaLL619 my issue is this. if i am a janitor do i need the guy who owns the company to tell me to clean up when something is dirty ?. even when katrina took place i did not blame bush because there are people in positions who get hired for these things. blame those who get hired for this and sit on their ass as if they dont know what they get paid for. we are at war let our presidents focus on that. cont....

  • @ButtErBaLL619 as for them enjoying other activities ?. they should, because a paranoid person with no time to relax will not be good for us and will lead to future fuck ups. they said bush sat on his ass and i rather a man think what to do then rush in. how many things can one man do when we are at war ? the coast guard failed both times not our presidents. open your eyes and stop blaming one person when others are actually hired for this.

  • Oil giant Halliburton (HAL: 26.09, 0.47, 1.83%) announced late Friday that it will purchase emergency response oil control company Boots & Coots (WEL: 2.94, 0, 0%) in a deal valued at around $232 million.

Boots & Coots shares soared on Monday by more than 25%.

  • @nandansho They bought out Stock ONE Week before the explosion. THIS needs to be criminally investigated. This is'nt Obama's Katrina WHAT Media outlet is claiming this? Take a friggen guess??

  • Obama is making the oceans recede... no just filling them with oil...

  • Wouldn't the government coming in on to a "private business" and "taking over" the response of an oil spill been called SOCIALISM!? They want the government to take control of oil spill, but scream "DON'T TOUCH OUR BANKS!" Sure, a lot of people are going to be affected by this, but HOW MANY MORE were harmed in the financial collapse?

  • @franklinjonesii THEY BLEW IT UP TO SABOTOGE OBAMA'S PRESIDENCY

  • @franklinjonesii Im not sure what you mean....

on 911 privately owned airlines regulated by government flew into 2 privatly owned towers in New York City......there is a big difference between socialim and response to a disaster....If your privatly owned house burns down, and sets adjacent houses on fire, would we expect you to stop the spread? no....there is a big difference between socialism and taking responsible action....

  • When the financial crisis was going on, fox news and the such cried "he nationalizing the banks", and things of that nature. They had people protesting health care for ALL is "socialism", even calling him a nazi. Had the adm came in and took over the oil spill day one, fox and people of that type would have been SCREAMING a GOVT TAKEOVER of private industry. The govt does not drill oil, so its' expertise would NOT be to clean a spill. Allowing them to drill.....YES, that WAS his call.

  • @franklinjonesii I am all for a publically owned National bank like the Bank of Canada..owned by the people.....Its the privatly owned "IMF" and privatly owned "Federal Reserve" rigging the flow of the economy that need to be dissolved.

  • @slammah2012 BP is purposely poisoning the sea...Obama Ok'd the Chemical sinking of it opposed to the the mopping of it using the biodigradable pellets that have worked inthe past spills...BP refuses to vacuum and fill its tankers with the oil slick that is there....this is a poisoning....point blank

  • I agree 100%! I was 25 when I first learned that the fed reserve did not answer to the president of the country. That makes NO sense, for either a repub or dem! Medicare can run more efficiently than the private sector, spending what, 3-5% for adm cost, and blue cross gets 25%? What exactly does CEO DO, that warrants them to get THAT much money to send paperwork? Nothing will change though, b/c both parties are paid by oil and insurance companies, so until that is cut off, we will get screwed

  • Katrina was a Dem disaster with the real blame for incompetence landing squarely on the shoulders of the Dem gov and mayor. The law requires them to act and they did not even have a plan in place. BP oil spill is all Federal and again we see the incompetence of the Dems and their lack of leadership.

  • When will Obama do anything about our Gulf. Oh Yea, HE IS BLAMING EVERYONE. He can't see that he is doing nothing about the spill.

  • totally fucked up - the whole planet, including me.

  • "YES WE CAN" pollute all over the world.

"YES WE CAN" occupy the entire world.

"YES WE CAN" be the most selfish mofos on the planet.

  • All that's needed to solve this crisis is chant "YES WE CAN" in unison.

Same for everything else bad in the world : high crime, war, poverty - you name it - just chant.

  • All of you dangerously naive people who helped put Obama in office are now to blame for this disaster.

  • This is also BULLSHIT

The leak is estimated at 4million gallons a day

Clearly also RT is covering up BP

    SHAME

  • Search For

    "OBAMA MADNESS PROGRESS"

  • I wonder when Obama will think of someway to blame this on the "previous administration?"

  • @packrat76 Yep gonna blame that damm Eisenhower (shakes fist) all his fault

  • @TheRetiredtrucker Eisenhower did warn of the MIC, thats how Halliburton became so powerful.

  • @Kinkspace lol ...damm you got me there ....touche

  • @TheRetiredtrucker I don't think he'd slam any past Democratic president, just all the republican ones. Jimmy Carter was one of the worst presidents and had some horrible policies, but you'd never get Obama to admit it. Hell, he thinks some of Carter's tried and failed policies of the past should be tried again.

  • Whats it going to take to tell BP to plug the well and then try to figure out how to start getting the oil again.

  • Obama needs to hire a damn plumber. He can fix the problem.

  • @lorenzo8500 I hope its not njoe the plummer hes unlicensed! Oh yeah its very deep underwater so its very unpredictable.

  • this happened on Obama's watch, it is his katrina, Louisiana gets f#cked again!

  • what a joke

  • @bubbyslife2

    What's a joke?

  • It's about time America's Chernobyl happened. The greedy and selfish pursuit of short-term profit by these immoral capitalists will continue to have devastating consequences on society and the planet.

  • God must really hate niggers...

  • Obama looks pathetic, Bush-like, even with a gifted speaking style and great voice. "BP will pay!" That's the Obama plan? Point the finger at somebody else?

What about the complicity of the US govt itself in all of this?

How does it work in the American mind?

We elect a President so we can blame everything on the previous guy, ok and Cheney too, and then ask the world to wipe the slate clean?

It's a childish rogue nation, wearing Made in China plastic flags for diapers.

  • @seseljsrs

What would you like Obama to do?

  • @ExtremeBogom

You're kidding right? Is this wish list time? Like, my own little Obamba is Santa fantasy dream?

I can imagine, however, there are a few Americans who wish he would show some leadership. Instead, what we're seeing is another Obama corporate defense lawyer moment, something which has characterised his presidency. BP (it's still British don't doubt it) and its lawyers already said what Obama said about paying. Obama is that an echo?

  • @seseljsrs lol china made diapers so true.

  • @thedevos1981

Haha, yes, and they own that flag, that's true too.

  • So far BP has done a good job of avoiding any if not all responsibility. I agree societies evolve on progress from mistakes, not circle jerking the blame. However I don't think it's unreasonable for the President of any country to want answers from those who were in control of the site. Don't you agree?

  • @seseljsrs How is this Obama's fault?

  • @seseljsrs As a childish rogue nation, The United States STILL a superpower...hmmm, imagine that

  • @negrowithabrain

Actually you know what I could imagine is Americans going off to their beloved NASCAR races without even a thought to the fuel spilled off their shores, much less all the fuel used for their friviolous entertainment. Hmmm....

  • The comparison to Katrina is inappropriate only in the sense Katrina was a natural disaster, and for that matter largely resolved by nature in the aftermath. Whereas this is clearly a case of deliberate human negligence, perhaps one of the ten greatest examples of corporate hybris ever, a prime example of the risks corporations are willing to take to cut corners, reduce costs, make dirty intercorporate deals.

The comparison to Katrina is wholly appropriate in terms of US govt failure.

  • Rather, it can be likened as Obama's Chernobyl. Negligence, eh?

That is also how Chernobyl events have been portrayed. Only some of those implicated in negligence then and there had a courage to shoot themselves.

  • some people say the pipe can't be shut cause the water pressure, that's why we got machines for send a remote control machine down there end of story, but but but america is the greatest country in the world yet how do we close a pipe duh duh, i bet if it happened in russia the pipe would be shut in less than an hour.

  • The guy at 2:44 has it right!

  • It's not Katrina. Thousands of people died in Katrina and the aftermath. No one is dying from the oil spill. Some birds get oily.

  • You know what?! why don't we just ignore the problem ya, nothing is being done just ignore the oil spill! Lets just go on with our lives! Beaches covered in oil? well ignore that too because right now nothing is being done! :D

(I've lost all hope in my country, I wanna move to Canada)

  • @Squallleonheartfan

    you're welcome any time:)

  • hussein is using this as an excuse to ban further off shore drilling and impose harsh new restrictions. this guy is really pushing it...

  • No War for Israel in Iran - Keep Americans Safe watch?v=_qxzZY4JycY

  • @All4GayUSA "same-sex marriage passed nationally" ROFLMAO!!

    *weeping*

The glorious US&A just prepared itself for a mighty leap backward. I don´t think the Texas schoolbook disaster and rewriting of history suffies to stop further decline. Ahh those retards, allways "invent" some new bogus sollution to a problem they create in the first place.

  • BP is responsible, BP will pay, ....why not blame the North Korean or Iran.

Or may be?, ... world war II planes from the bermuda triangle.

Bankters destroying the economy, corporation destroying....

  • @luciodelgado Bankers and the MIC it is all one and the same.

  • Interesting that the company that makes the Corexit 9500 is owned by Exxon

  • Social progress and human well being is always second to monetary gain. You can take that to the bank...

  • I hate everything.

  • fucken america everything can happen there if there is some1 to give money to klepto-politicans.

  • @kalu19991 ROFL! Is posted on a channel owned by a state where 74% of the population perceives the level of corruption as "high" or "very high".

    Reality check?

  • @0PsycoDad0 perception isn't the truth, russans consider something is corruption what is for americans "bussines gift'. That is just a perception....

  • @kalu19991 Don´t mixit up. I´m no US citizen. I´m from Yurop

    ;)

  • Obama must be feeling that many people who voted for him are not supporting him anymore. The time for campaigning is over. Eventually, Mr. Obama, you have to take responsibility for your job, pick your priorities and fix what needs fixing. Otherwise, resign and lets get someone in who really care about the country and doesn't want to change it into a socialists state.

  • USA TO BE BLAME

  • BP better put the fisherman back to work by giving them good paying jobs to help clean this mess up.

If BP get halliburton to clean this mess up I think I might explode.

  • @Apollo232007

Yeah BP is giving them good work spaying dispersants that are patented by haliburton and bp! The only problems are that the dispersants cause cancer to those that handle them, and it also kills all the wildlife.

  • @BabyJustWin that is a conflict of interest. Corporations should not be able to benefit from mistakes which they created. A third party should be doing every aspect of the clean up, including solution use, BP should only be paying the bill.

All administrations would let this conflict of interest pass, it's never a conspiracy it's always a coincidence. corporations would never do something like destroy the environment to make profits.

  • @Apollo232007 Ok so do we have BP pull all of their ships into port while someone starts up a corporation, interviews and hires management, interviews and hired employees. and then purchases equipment to stop leak. Well stops leak after taking a month or 2 for training new workers how to do the job.

  • @TheRetiredtrucker are all BP employees trained for this sort of situation? I thought they pumped oil, I guess they could also be a molly maid service. I think on this large scale BP are going to be needing new departments and employees as it stands. I'm just suggesting that maybe they should not be pass the buck to a corp. that they are in bed with, also Haliburton was partially responsible so why should they be getting the dollars?

part of the clean up will fall on government and taxpayers

  • I just Subbed you, Please Sub back.

    Thanks

  • In the movie with Nicolas Cage the Knowing, It shows a disastor of one oil rig in the gulf of Mexico exploding. Now to my knowlege there never been any other explosion in the gulf. The Movie was released Mar 20,2009 one year and one month before it happened april 20 2010. Movie people ussally consult with expert before making a movie so this was definatly an accident looking for a place to happen.

  • this is bullshit why haven't things been done i'm seeing alot of blame game here and no sign of fixing the fucken problem.

Look up the major institutional investors ,,,,goldman sachs, JP MORGAN etc.

  • I'm not going to hold my breath On Barry Soetoro saving us! When hasn't he lied?

BP should have shit carbon taxed out of them! Also for lost revenue and TAXES lost for all the loss of income on this as well! Be heavily fined by the EPA! Queen B is rich!

They can't get away with this shit like EXXON did!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice name for report: hurricane season will give, for this, name new meaning. i'm ready to bet clowns from bp & gov. shall mess up "top kill" completely.

  • in capitalist america the oil runs you

  • Another N.W.O con job, they are dismantling the world. A month later without results in combating and putting and end to this disaster?

  • People that's happening on purpose they can shut the pipe any time they want, hell a fucking amateur pipe mechanic can shut that.

  • @theagrafiotis Humm, any idea on how high the pressure is down there? Water currents?

And "on purpose" is far too optimistic on the brains involved. I bet there were simply dimwits in action.

Just watch some fail vids to get an impression of how stupid ppl CAN be.

  • @0PsycoDad0

2010 is the natural disaster year, earthquakes volcanos now oil spill you think all of those happened accidentally?

  • another assault on LA, woops just a mistake.

  • RT, yes. Keep asking the street poets and rappers (no big commercial labels please) about the political situation. Yes - alternative viewpoints!

Anyone, but no pundits from the Anglo-American cabal. Oh, OK, try to see if Bono is free now that his back gave out. I always get a kick out of those interviews he gives on 3rd world debt relief from his penthouse suite in Monte Carlo.

  • I don't get it, shouldn't he be on the coastline in a hunting vest or something

inspecting the situation? Then use the opportunity to declare war on Toyota?

At least Bush showed up in New Orleans in his "my day off" shirt just to scowl, wave his hand, and get back on the chopper. No, he didn't do anything, but at least he showed up, and as Woody Allen, paraphrasing Groucho Marx (inadvertently?) once said - "80% of my success is just showing up."

  • this makes me so mad

  • @cosmiceon Good! Take action!

  • This is the result of raw capitalism... money first, nature last.... Epic fail.....

  • Are these the same people complaining that the government does not protect them that voted in time and time again corrupt politicians who promised them low oil prices and low tax's?

You get what you paid for and you paid for fuck all.

No good finger pointing now just deal with it will ya.

  • @Kinkspace, stupid comment. Dont you get it... the WHOLE SYSTEM is satanic, where was there EVER an option for NON corrupt politicians? "Get what you paid for" ... did the Ocean also pay for that, all the Animals? the whole ecosystem? Get out of your brainwashed box and look around... this time with your eyes open dude.

    *

Blaming the victim is so passe and sooo lame.

  • @Jupiterconjunct It was only a few weeks ago I was shouted down on a regular basis in here for speaking up for higher tax's, lower carbon emissions, renewable energy etc in YT by every passing American and called every name under the sun and repeatedly insulted for my views. You can't have your cake and eat it, you must shoulder some of the responsibility.

Americans are great finger pointers. They cry victim as they slap you. Just get it fixed.

  • @Jupiterconjunct And don't you get it, your part of that system, we all are.

  • @Kinkspace Im not really a part of the system. I work from home, I dont shop, make my own wine, grow my own. Dont vote for asshole A or asshole B. Dont eat meat, or milk. Dont drink fluoride, dont take pharmaceuticals (stay healthy or take herbs), dont watch tv, dont do movies, dont do christianity... nope NOT a part of the system. ps, Im canadian

  • @Jupiterconjunct One more thing, in the UK BP champions alternative renewable energy sources. Because the people wanted it and were willing to pay for it, unlike Americans.

They would of done the same there its called supply and demand, the demand in Europe is for renewable energy sources, thats what they have invested in here, we made them.

  • @Kinkspace I'm so sick and tired of people putting Americans down. You sound like you are from the UK, and you would have no idea what Americans want. Are you so proud of yourself because you demanded BP charge you higher prices for your renewable energy which by all means is less expensive for them to provide than oil?? I don't think UK is oil free is it? Maybe it is totally solar/wind, and the rest of the world just hasn't heard about your conversion yet.

  • @Plum369 Get a grip I simply pointed up that there is a collective responsibility here, read all my comments in context, it was Americans attacking me, and everything and body but themselves, if you care to read.

The UK is not oil free and no it is not cheaper to provide alternative power it is extremely expensive at the moment in comparison.

    cont...

  • @Kinkspace "it is extremely expensive "

OMG! Plz get an education. It´s especially "in comparrison" cheaper to run alternative power plants.

The current accounting standards let it look like alternative is more costly but IF you care to price in social costs of cleaning up the mess coal&uranium´re devastated.

In Germany a price tag of 3,5 cent/KWH is used exclusively to prepare the energy grid for the future!

  • @0PsycoDad0 Yes I know but I was responding to an American so that was in a context, i cannot repeat it all so please go back and read ;)

  • @Kinkspace K, so you were pointing this out to plum,eh?

  • @0PsycoDad0 Attempting to, plumb does not get it, surprise surprise ;)

  • @0PsycoDad0 Basically that was the whole point I was making ;)

  • @0PsycoDad0 My point is the average American has supported the pyramid system over & over again buying into the promise of cheep fuel & lower tax's being greedy. It is therefore inappropriate that they cry victim and point fingers at anyone but themselves.

Their past actions have created this and more as a result of their greed. I do not recall the rest of us having a vote there or being listened to on any occasion especially when it came to money in their pockets, indeed we were told to stfu

  • @Kinkspace "indeed we were told to stfu "

NARF! Yep especiall with this "anti-regulation" stance!

Sure subsidizing CAN run out of controll if you don´t care to supervise but it´s not evil per se..

    cheers!

  • @Plum369 I merely made the statement that whenever it was suggested in summits or here on line that the US should pay more for fuel and in tax for investment needed to switch to renewable energy they were up in arms and did not want that, in Europe we did.

now did you all expect that cheep oil would not come at a price?

    If the cap fits.

  • @Plum369 In case you have not been paying attention the rest of the world without exception has been trying to get the US to address these issues for years and they have point blank refused.

If you are going to state that factual statements that Americans do not like is "putting Americans down" then I would also suggest you examine your concept of free speech, subjugation, suppression and corruption.

  • @Kinkspace you were putting Americans down as you said "we were willing to pay for it, unlike Americans". Many americans pay extra on their electricity bills for "green" energy. It doesn't cost any more to put up windmills than it does to put up oil rigs. Corporations and banks control the world now, it's not "the people" in control anywhere. Iceland is making a start. Free speech all you want, and don't be surprised when people respond with free speech of their own!

  • @Plum369 What you are missing is the infrastructure, its not simply the cost of putting up the windmills is it.

And it does not stop at windmills there is LPG, wave power and so on, the research and money necessary investment into new project to get them to the point that they can be delivered and sucessfully work is emence compared to putting up an oil rig.

The point is the USA has never worked with the rest of the world on these issues and has arrogantly gone its own way.

    cont...

  • @Kinkspace where do you think LPG (liquid propane gas) comes from?

  • @TheRetiredtrucker The point is most gas is burned off and not used, using it is preferable to burning it. In Nigeria more gas is burned off the oil fields in one day than the USA uses in 1 year.

  • @TheRetiredtrucker Uses domestically I should of said.

  • @TheRetiredtrucker Sorry should read 1 week, it is better to find ways of using it if its going to be burned off to get to the oil anyway don't you think?

  • @Kinkspace Yep...I know they are building a lot more LNG tankers to haul it from the middle east to ports round the world.....but deffinately dont want to be around if one of those ships ever went up

  • @TheRetiredtrucker Thats why it needs investment otherwise we are just creating carbon for nothing, not to mention it's cheaper and more enviro friendly to run an LPG car, we have them in out family. I just cannot see the point in burning it off at the rate we are doing so a few can get richer faster at the expense of everyone and every thing.

  • @Plum369 You are in deluded and in denial if you think that this does not boil down to the laziness and greed of the average American in the past, swapping their and everyone else's freedom for a little more money in their pockets.

you all voted on mass for this for a very long time. 250 million population could and should of taken responsibility for who they allowed to control them a long time ago and did not.

    cont...

  • @Kinkspace "not boil down to the laziness and greed of the average American"

plz how about stupidity? I think stupidity is by far the most underestimated factor.

    :D

  • @0PsycoDad0

I was being as polite as possible with laziness, as I think poor education does come down to laziness at the end of the day, stupidity and laziness go hand in hand :)

  • @Kinkspace so now you are a qualified psychologist. Americans don't own all the oil companies, or all the oil, but you like to scapegoat Americans. I have nothing else to say to you, it is a waste of time.

  • @Plum369 I never said they did but we are discussing the Horizon rig here which is owned by BP America, built by Transocean, and the bit that broke was down to Halliburton, the permits and the safety standards were set by the US administration who the American people voted for, indeed it is the same elected American government that issues the permits for the clean up operation.

    cont...

  • @Kinkspace they arent cleaning the oil up.....they are throwing chemicals on it forcing the oil to sink down to the undercurrents where it gets carried out to sea...

The oil keeps pumping and they are spreading it under the surface....

  • @slammah2012 I never said they were i was demonstrating the incestuousness of it all.

  • @slammah2012 Ok,Get on a plane and fly to the gulf and fix it, or shut the hell up stupid!

  • @cobraman96 shove your mouth over it sparky...

  • @cobraman96 wrap your mouth around it sparky.... that should work...

  • @slammah2012 Hey asswipe,Obama was the one telling the republicans to get a mop and help clean up the financial mess,Now the shoe is on the other foot and he sends a team of lawyers? What a stupid motherfucker he is!

  • @Plum369 Now even with a vivid imagination and state of delusion that you suffer its hard to see how anyone other than the Americans are responsible for this disaster.

  • @Plum369 Stop denying and crying about it now and playing the victim, do something about it, all the rest of us can do is watch the car crash your bad driving has resulted in.

  • @Kinkspace ok, I take back my rude original comment.

  • @Jupiterconjunct

Before you point the finger at someone else, read over your own comment; several times if neccesary; correct, and continue.

  • If this were indeed an Earth Day accident, why did Obama bring in the military?
