I read an interview with George (who has a couple of houses in England and a house in Dallas with his partner) in People and he said they'll never do a reunion but they're still very good friends. Andrew Ridgeley lives in Cornwall.

You've got to love Ridgeley. Anybody who managed to wrangle a songwriting co-credit for 'Careless Whisper' simply because he used to make George Michael a cup of tea, as well as marrying the brunette out of Bananarama, as got my respect.
From 1979 in an obscure ska band, The Executive, until March 1986 when their break-up was announced must have been Andrew's best years of his life. Not to mention being a millionaire at 21 and all the doors that were open...only to be closed one after the other after he was thrown off GM's train. He was half the image, GM's moral support that allowed him to shine, and came up with a few words in Careless Whisper, period. With his modest talent, without GM at his side, he didn't stand a chance .

Yes, I looked it up and wahat I found is that Andrew lives in a small British town but George comes to visit him in helicopter on occasion. They still talk on the phone every once in a while, and they had a breif reunion with Shirlie and Pepsi as well in 2006.

Wham were my teenage idols. I didn't like George though. I always fancied Andrew. I always thought there was something odd about George even though I didn't understand what gay was about. His choice of girlfriends was odd for a start.

It was great that Andrew Ridgeley appeared in this. Andrew was very underrated in Wham! He made Wham! in many ways and he made George Michael as well. It's great to still see that the two of them are the best of mates.

Wham were my teenage idols. I didn't like George though. I always fancied Andrew. I always thought there was something odd about George even though I didn't understand what gay was about. His choice of girlfriends was odd for a start.
Andrew did have surgery on his nose. I thought his nose was nice to start with, but he pretended that he was in a fight and why his nose has plasters on, but it was really flat after.

this was great, but it makes me cry when i see george cry at the final! love wham so much, great music and good times! george and andrew were magical! still listen to their cd's, have them all! just love blue and nothing looks the same in the light, ah.... heaven! cheers!

I agree, Wham was something very special ! The whole of Wham was greater then the sum of their parts, even if one of those parts was the solo career of george Michael.
Just listen to what George has to say about Andrew's support. Wham truly represented freindship to me.

they split because George Michael was going solo, I am assuming that this was around 1986 maybe? but when you ask were they partners are you asking "didaktus90" if they were the partners in business or the partners in a relationship more than friends? I don't think so, but I feel that if George had come out back then it would have damaged his start of his solo Career and also I personally think that Andrew would have turned his back on him then....

wow!! i´m very surprising that George looks better with the time and Andrew..oh my god.. lol he looks terrible! lol, but without doudt they both were very famous at wham´s time..yeah..they were gorgeous!! i love wham and of course to George!!!
