This playing of the opus 10/12 is bright and never compromises in clarity, it is sometimes daring pedal-dry. This is a tight, no nonsense version of this etude and in it's straight honest character very convincing.
Omg! This is the one I'm working on. This is the fastest I've heard/seen it played. How do you do it? I am currently struggling with this piece and you make it look so easy. lol
So how much time is spent on a piece like this. I mean I know your ability is far better than mine, but still. On the average, how many times did you have to play this before getting it completely right? Sometimes I wonder if I'm simply wasting my time because it's coming so slowly. I would like to post vdz.
Since I don't know your level of skill it's a bit hard to tell excactly. But I would guess you'll have to play it countless of times before perfecting it. The challenge lies not only in memorizing all the notes or playing in the right speed but too get all emotions right aswell.

Love the very little to no pedal usage and no rubato, how it should be played! Bravo.

I love the way you play this. My problem is when the thumb has to go under. Sometimes it just gets stuck between the keys; so annoying.
Bravo!
