  • How do you like the LIN3? Plan on getting 2 blue for the grille.

Any comments about them, please let me no. Nice set up too!

  • I like the set up. Although, some hide-away LED's in the headlights and tail-lights would look great. Especially when you are on road side, it makes you so much more visible. But still, I like the set up.

  • nice vic

  • Must be cool. People must get nervous and think you're a cop when you get behind them Lol!

  • Hey nice car i have a 1/18 camaro that almost that smae light set up!!!check it out i will post a vid of it later!

  • very nice set up man. Keep up the good work. Never seen lights in the finder like that.

  • I love the ford crown victoria

  • Veary cool:)

  • do those intersection lights work well for you?

  • yeah they do a pretty good job stopping traffic...i'm actually thinking of getting whelen 500's though and mounting them above the wheel well like on our EMS first responder cars and takin off the LIN3's..but i haven't made up my mind yet

  • isnt it a good idea to take hide away stobes or do u hav esomething else in mind thats better?

  • i might be doing strobes but only for when i respond to EMS calls cause EMS allows strobes in the headlights and taillights...however i'm only honorary right now so until i am probationary i can't respond with lights...so i won't add the strobe til i'm a probationary

  • strobes are illegal in NJ for both fire and EMS.

  • wr0ng! they are perfectly legal, even the public can use them... get your facts strait

  • actually strobes are illegal in NJ, but not many cops would care enough to pull you over for them. Most of the volunteer firefighters by me are the ones that have them. not so much with ems.

  • Please advise what pattern the lights mounted to the headliner are flashing, also, Talons?

  • they're on the fastest flash pattern i don't know what its called...the camera can't pick them up though at that speed so they look like that on the vid...i find the rapid flash on the dash combined with the slower flash in the grille does well

  • oh and yeah they're dual talons

  • so when cars r in your way do they move?

  • as of lately its rare for them not to yield

  • Yep, blue lights + the crown vic would move traffic good because you look like your a cop :).

  • yea dats true

but if its supposed 2 be fire dpt shudnt it have red and orange lights?

the ones like that in Florida have orange bar lights in the rear windows and 2 red ones one each side of the third brake light

ive never seen wat it looks like at the front though

  • na new jersey doesn't allow volly's to have red lights unless ur a captain or a chief

  • ok cool

  • That's right, New Jersey rocks the Blue Lights!

  • nice set up, wig wags front back and would be 30% better at moving traffic or better. i can use blue for fire and green for ems but no siern i dont even think air horn i can use. but i live in a small town or like 4,000 our graduating class is 10 its sad. how much total?

  • in jersey we cant have any strobes in the head lights its illegal. but you can in the tail lights. blues are used for fire and ems and really were only meant to have two blue lights but nobody ever follows that

  • depending on the traffic level sometimes i justs use the grilles and deck and people yield...but in high traffic or for a confirmed structure fire(general alarm) i run withall the lights that u see in the vid

  • Where are you that you get blue lights for fire. Our POV in Arkansas allow us any red white and amber lights we want as well as a siren.

  • New Jersey

  • looks really nice, the air´horn is also greaet to bad you cant have a siren though

  • Are you fire department or PD? I'm just lookin at how you guys can add lights and sirens to your own cars to respond to your stations, it sucks cos here in Ireland we're not allowed do that :(

  • fire department, that does suck, i'v read how u guys in the ireland and the uk can't use lights to respond and how fustrating it is knowing ur going to an emergency but no one else does

  • Yea it's the same way here in Alabama too.We cant have anything but amber but I am in a VFD in a smaller town of about 10,000 people and the local police don't bother those of us that use red lights. The troopers get a little pissy about it though.

  • Nice setup, any plans to add strobes to the head/taillights? Also I would say put a couple of ambers in the rear... they always are useful back there.

  • thanx, i'd like to but when i asked if i could i was told no and as far as the ambers i'v been thinking about it but i'm not sure, i really have no functional use for them it would really just be aesthetic

  • Love the air horn, doesn't sound like the whelen PAH112. What is it?

  • thanx, its a Whelen 295SL100, its great for those motorists who like to talk on the phone, put on lipstick, eat, crank up the music, ect., gets their attention real fast

  • yea i know what you mean, we have the whelen PAH112 on my dads truck(it only has the airhorn tone). It draws attention to the lights very well! Stay Safe!

  • i should have just got that it prob would have saved some cash

  • True, but at least you will have a siren if you are ever a chief. ;-)
