Well when my computer wasn't running on AIDS and FAIL, I had this running on VisualBoyAdvance recording the gameplay as a savestate movie at full speed, then I replayed the movie and selected "save as AVI" rendering it through an x264 codec. If I didn't make a savestate movie before, recording as an AVI offhand would have been very slow.
I don't know, I beat the entire game on both an emulator (while I waited for the cart to come in the mail) and after I got the cart I beat it on my DS.
The audio was fine for me, just the timing was different.
Keyboard. It's the parts that are like at 1:03 that really get me - the rest I can do fine, and I've gotten Excellent on the first game, but those four pons really knock me for a loop.
The keyboard reacts slower than a game pad. I found that out the hard way. I'm still having trouble on this one though. I have the first one set in my head.
Well, it depends on which kind of controller you use. A PS2 controller gives you bad button response, but a Gamecube controller may give you better button response. There should be a USB adaptor for these controllers on Ebay.
This level took me 2 months to beat. Now I'm stuck on Poly-Rhythm 2. *sigh*

Wow, this makes me glad I learned Hiragana, so I actually know when the "PAN!" is.
...but of course, this is pointless, considering I'm not color-blind, too...

This stage IS really tricky, but it's also really fun. I think it was my last perfect in Set 6.
scratch799 2 years ago
this one took me a while to pass

Wow, that song is kinda evil! It is basically 100% the first version, except that the Don and Pan are swapped, to confuse you.

This was the hardest level int he game for me, especially when it goes panpan panpan

Yeah, this stage got me! I had to get the lady at the coffee shop to pass it for me.

dorik0 3 years ago
as it was said; don't try to play the game on an emulator. It's messed up compared to the original cart, hard to believe but true.
The desync in this video has nothing to do with it tho
Motorbass303 3 years ago
Time and programming usually changes that.
KeijiKG 3 years ago
I can play it pretty well on an emulator, but I have lots of rhythm. This particular minigame was practically impossible, though.

Gamepad or keyboard?

Yeah I beat the game on emulation with not much problems except for on this stage a little bit. The part at 1:04 was the tricky part.

I use an controller actually designed for a computer and I have no issues.

@Motorbass303: I play this game in a PSP handheld with a GBA emulator and it works fine. It's perfectly synched as far as I can see/hear.

actually it's rendering of the video genius.

Its times like this that the Coffee room icon exists for (it allows you to skip stages...sometimes, I definetely got it to work on this stage).
StarwolfUK 3 years ago
The audio is off, which is lame for a Rhythm game. I'm sure it was fine when you made the video, but sometimes the site screws it up.
Damn, that stage is hard. I still haven't beaten it. ;_;

its really hard ^_^ gotta find out how to do the tricky one. I finally did it but.... i dont think ill do it again for a while! :D
