Mi sto innamorando dei progetti Wharram e questo video me ne conferma la validità. Certo che con questo vento nemmeno una tormentina per dare stabilità di rotta e velocità, è un pò una follia!

Per Kommos...conosco le persone che erano a bordo.. facevano sette nodi a pali nudi... più che sufficienti mi pare :-)

Sicuramente la velocità era più che sufficiente, ma a pali nudi non hai il pieno controllo. Uno straccio di tela, ti permette di governare in caso di difficoltà ed evita che il vento possa traversare lo scafo. Indubbiamente però la barca la sapevano portare!

The dude in red @ 00:44 looks like he wanted off an hour ago. This is more a consistent 35 knot downwind experience. All the same, you've got balls to be responsible for 3 others while sailing in this weather in a 26ft cat. Here's to everyone making it across safely.
