  • Americans can afford to be complaicent when they're paying peanuts for petrol.

    No wonder they can afford to run these gas guzzlers.

    Here in the UK a gallon of petrol costs £6.12 which equates to about $10 USD.

    Now try and understand why we might be inclined towards cars like the Hyundai i10.

  • I recently bought a BMW E36 325is with less than 40K miles, in excellent condition, for $12K (US). And I know that it will last me as long as I take care of it, and it will still look good 10 years from now. And yes, I have driven Hyundai's, and there is no comparison. Just be patient and wait to find a good deal on a NICE car that you will enjoy driving.

  • @m287452 maybe in Australia your petrol isn't as expensive as where I live. Said this, this car isn't particularly brilliant for consuption but I just bought one that runs on LPG for about 5000 euros, two years old with still 3 years warranty. Not bad, touch wood.
