@wwecpp254 The hissing is usually a bluff. This guy always gives me a little hiss when I go to pick him up, and as soon as I do, he's calm as.

Just keep handling him, little and often will calm him down in no time.

@wwecpp254 that happens alot. it just means that it is scared. if it is hissing hwen you try to pic it up than i would handle it more. if that dosent work than make shure the cage is set up right. if you have question on the cage set up that jest message me back and ill tell you.

I love blue tongues, some people call them creepy slimey creatures but they are so not! They are very calm, nice and docile animals and they make Amazing pets too! :)

I love these creatures very calm and docile ..and they don't bother anyone ..just a little expensive to care for ...mine is about the same size as yours. ...Cute!

They eat a lot! lol

They also get quite big so need a fairly large enclosure.
