really please don't see this awful film. It has some cool effects but everything else really sucks. I was massively disappointed by this poor film. Compare this film to Gladiator. In Gladiator everything is perfect to how Rome was at the time. It has a realistic, but also revolutionary story. Prince of Persia is the opposite. It is really one of the much worse American Films

@BelowMe16 well the prince of persia movie does not relate mch to the games either. BUT the very very most important elements (like the dagger. a bad guy who wants to abuse the sands of time and a sometimes annoying princess) + the new written story made it much better than the game.

Sands of time is my fave Platformer for PS2 so wasn't really sold on the idea of a decent flick that could compare but must say the trailer won me over, I initially couldn't imagine Gyllenhaal playing the Prince but they done him up perfectly, he looks good for the role, and they got the environment perfect too, this was a truly good job altho its got elements of diff games ..
This movie was ten million times better than I thought it would be and I thought it would be really good. The storyline is just so action packed, imaginative and ... well ... AMAZING! I loved it. And Dastan's arms may well be the nicest I have ever seen ;) Haha! <3

It's not often that I complain about a movie but really hated this one. I just don't think it was executed well enough, the script wasn't very good, horrible scene transitions, the romance wasn't in the least believable. I wouldn't recommend seeing it.

One of the main reasons why this game-adaptation came out right, and great:
It was written, and kinda produced by Jordan Mechner, the creator of the franchise. Both the original, and the Sands Of Time trilogy.

@BelowMe16 well the prince of persia movie does not relate mch to the games either. BUT the very very most important elements (like the dagger. a bad guy who wants to abuse the sands of time and a sometimes annoying princess) + the new written story made it much better than the game.
only those who expected the same story are disappointed. they think its fun to watch a movie with a story they already know.... screw them ;)

this movie was beautifully shot & amazingly well acted. the story was quick paced & witty & full of adventure. i loved every moment of this film(: even though it didn't EXACTLY coincide with the videogame, doesn't mean that it wasn't a brilliant film. it was amazing. just as amazing as the videogame.
& Jake Gyllenhaal being so sexy also contributed.... ;l ahaha

I didn't knew that I can see the movie online but I saw a link in comments: exclusive-movies-com and it really worked. Other websites promoted here are spam with fake files and no movies

Sands of time is my fave Platformer for PS2 so wasn't really sold on the idea of a decent flick that could compare but must say the trailer won me over, I initially couldn't imagine Gyllenhaal playing the Prince but they done him up perfectly, he looks good for the role, and they got the environment perfect too, this was a truly good job altho its got elements of diff games ..

This movie was ten million times better than I thought it would be and I thought it would be really good. The storyline is just so action packed, imaginative and ... well ... AMAZING! I loved it. And Dastan's arms may well be the nicest I have ever seen ;) Haha! <3

About the girl/Gemma Arterton. Like you guys said she is stunning in the movie, but when i looked at photos of her on google i was chocked. Does she really look like that without all the make up and shit? She isnt that beautiful in IRL, or maybe she just doesnt know how to style herself.

Thisis a great movie!!! Even tho its sometimes way exaggerated, its entertaining, exciting and sometimes even funny! And I love that Jake had the main role, before i didnt care so much about him, but now i realize how handsome he is ;)

This movie was BADASS! Go watch it! It's better than the trailer! And trailers are usually better than the movies. You'll be shocked, amazed, and saddened by this awesome movie! Probably the best movie in 2010. I just saw the movie in HD quality on exclusive-movies . co198m (delete 198). Is free and the streaming is great. Don't try the other sites promoted in comments because there are only fake videos and you will not find the movie.

Just when you think it is no longer possible to subvert or reinvent an exhausted genre, something like this movie comes along to blow your presuppositions right out of the water.The movie was full of energy. It's not often that I complain about a movie but really hated this one. I just don't think it was executed well enough, the script wasn't very good, horrible scene transitions, the romance wasn't in the least believable. I wouldn't recommend seeing it.
