  • Wow, what a nice song! I loved both versions :D Anyway, the Keane's one is quite 'funnier'

  • This is weird, but I still love the heck out of it

  • where have I been? wow this album whole album is amazing.

  • who`s the girl who sing with their?

  • i don´t like this song.............at all

  • @krOkeaNe I love it, it's quite Beatle- esque, like sgt. pepper's era, haven't heard the original

  • 4 people dont have perfect symmm....oh wait wrong song :))

  • @hugwhoreprincess Lol wrong album too. :P

  • wow what a cool comparison! I had never heard of YMO before Keane's cover so I am glad they did it as it exposes us in places like the United States who don't know about a band like YMO to them (Especially me since I wasn't born before they broke up!) To those who think YMO's version is better, I can understand that since the original is generally always better than a cover for most things but to slag off on Keane for the attempt is just rude.

  • @USColdplayFan Thanks. As a YMO fan, I think they made a fine cover.

  • @USColdplayFan i find that the kean version is brilliand only because i have not found a good hq version of the song but they are boath good in their own way.

  • interesting how Keane covered the song from beat to beat.

I like both versions. It's YMO's most BEATLE'S type song...and good on Keane for covering YMO. Like someone said, they were Japan's Beatles for the modern electro age. The time when Japan culture was actually using English eloquently, and then Komuro Tetsuya came along and murdered all that.

  • ummm you guys have it all wrong... this song is a cover from a japanese electropop group called Yellow Magic Orchestra famously from late 70s/80s.... and for yur info Yellow Magic Orchestra are known to have pioneered electropop music and are the one that blew that shit up!!! Theyre known to be the Beatles of electropop... and so without them there wont be many of these bands out now including DaftPunk!!! So before you talk get your info straight!!!

  • @gaozhi2007 go and fuck yourself and wife on the face, fucking cum ass idiot!!

  • @gaozhi2007 Behave, son.

  • @gaozhi2007 What makes you say that? I think it's a brilliant song they've taken from the past and remade. It's not like any other stuff Keane's done before, but it's still brilliant. What don't you like about it?

  • @Partymanchris1 Knowing the history behind this song helps me stomach the attrocious cheese of it, but not much. I just listened to YMO for the first time and the original is about 100x better. This girl's voice is much better for the syrpy-cute style of the song. This version is farty and boring. I actually really like the other YMO song I listened to. Reminded me of old video games. This cover blows. BTW, Kraftwerk was way before YMO..we would still have Daft Punk..

  • @gaozhi2007 I agree, the original is a lot better than Keane's version (sorry Keane, but it's true). Also, who's the woman who sings in Keane's version? It's too quiet and a bit too low for her voice.

  • @Partymanchris1 MC Tigarah is the girl who sings. Actually I lowered the pitch of Keane's version to match the YMO's one, so she doesn't really sing that low.

  • It's cute the way he is singin japanese :D

  • The catchiest son from the album.

  • I like it left ear original, right ear keane. KEWL>

  • What a nice song for their Japanese fans. Yes that must be what it is. I kinda like it too. It's different, and that's not bad.

  • @AlternateAnthony I'm afraid very few of Keane's fans, even the Japanese ones, are familiar with YMO.
