I have an iTouch but I think the battery doesn’t last long it should last, because the application "Battery +" is timing the charge in accordance with the task to perform, in this case play 3D games, Battery + tells me that I have between 3 hours and some minutes, but it seems that in reality is less than half. Is this app right? Or is the battery bad?

your tips aren't bad but keeping a battery at or around 50% does "hurt" the overall capacity because li-ion batteries form memories if capacities are drained to a certain level and held there too long. I keep my charged as much as pragmatically possible while draining it completely to the point of shutting off once a month. This is called discharging and for some reason helps fight degradation of the battery overtime (because keeping it fully charged all the time isn't the best for it either)

Actually, fulling charging the battery for however long it says to, or until its full, and then using it until the battery is very low or completely drained is best. As silly as it sounds it exercises the max potential of the battery and will slow the effects of degradation on the battery.

100% correct. Keeping the battery fully charged at all times will eventually begin to degrade the battery's ability to hold a charge. In a nutshell, Fully charge, fully drain, fully charge fully drain, and so on.

you have a really good video, you really do, and i think your battery should run at least 2 times more, but there's an app for battery life saving called battery boost... and its free, and i found alot of the stuff you said was from there. so yeah use that it also has a few more tips as well, about 15 of them.

does the lowering brightness really helps that much on the ipod touch 2G? cause i used to have an ipod nano 3G, and it really did help it in that one cause the minimum brightness was really low but enough, which was a really good thing, but now I have an ipod nano 4G and the minimum brigthness is still really bright, i think as bright as half the brightness bar of the 3G, i just want to know if the min. brightness for the touch is dark or not so much, so that it really saves some energy

Make sure wi-fi is always off unless you need. Saves you a lot of battery.
