  • beanpole lol!!!

  • That's Moe on the radio at the beginning.

  • SHHHH Wait, QUIET!!!

  • dancing ....hahahahaha

  • I love Larry's rough demenor in this episode! sexy!

  • 5:16 I always refinance this when my dad has a alcohol.

  • Larry: There's a guy on this train is crazy about Roberta. And if you don't want to lose her, you better play ball with me.

(Moe tosses a ball to Larry, Larry tosses the ball back to Moe)

Moe: Wait a minute, how did you know I had ball

(Moe throws the ball on Larry's forehead)

  • save a waltz for me.

  • horrible but i like it. LOL!

horrible but i needed it. LMAO!

  • you don't think he'd marry this beanpole!

  • and besides...he's filthy with money.

larry: ehhh he's filthy with or without.

  • the music box jingle that sounds when shemp takes a drink from the little brown jug, is the classic old fashioned drunk song how dry i am. sometimes you hear it in bugs bunny/daffy duck cartoons too. "nobody knows, how dry i am..nobody knows how dry i am. hooooowww dryyyy iiiii aaaaammm.. (hic)*

  • you don,t think he would Marry this BEANPOLE "..ahahahahaha!!!!

  • Anyone else notice that was Moe on the radio at the beggining?

  • boy this stuffs really got a kick

  • its lik wherers moe then its like there he iis lol

  • 4:31 WAIDAMINUTE!!! How did YOU know I had a ball!?!?!

  • from the looks of the thumbnail i thought Moe was laughing. I thought that before I watched this episode for the first time.

  • The thing that stands out in this short is Shemp's amazing comedic performance and Larry acting the tough guy.

  • Given the low opinion of this short in some circles (or "soicles"), one wonders if it has to do with Jules White being totally at the helm of Columbia's short-subjects department - and whether its tone may've been different if this were made under the Hugh McCollum/Ed Bernds/Elwood Ullman troika.

  • I thought she was gonna give it to Larry, he would have deserved it!

  • This is one of my fave Stooge episodes of all time! I love Shemp the drunk who gets both chicks! Larry's toughguy act only to get slapped around by cop Moe. And Moe is great as the frustrated cop who can't laid or capture the criminal.

  • Is Carrie the Canary the inspiration for Big BIrd?

  • @anchovysardine More like Harvey.

  • Larry is Marlon Brando.

  • 3:55 GET OUTTA HERE..DYING

  • I love the sounds when they get drunk! I can listen to them 1,000 times and still laugh

  • 7:00 "Put your hand on your chin! Your knee up here!" (kick). ---One of Moe's most inspired acts of ritual violence. And then we get an even bigger payoff at 7:20 when Shemp turns it against him.
