Is anyone familiar w/ gas station auditing? I've signed up w/ a company who does these. When is the best time to do them? In the mornings or evenings?

@internetfan2005 I would definitely say mornings but when they call you to do one they will give you time parameters for example between the hours of 8am-5pm

I was supposed to do one the other day that was a reveal audit, however, I was required to get pictures of the mens and womens restrooms, however, the station was so busy, plus ppl in and out the bathrooms all day, I was not able to get it done when I arrived on the premises. This was around 2 in the afternoon. I'll try mornings, maybe they won't be so crowded then.

If you get a mystery shopping email that tells you that you recieve are going to recieve a 2000 dollar check and it asks you to keep 150 and wire the rest of the money via western union it's a scam.

No there is no other catch. They tell you how much to spend or some time you are just rating customer service and you don't spend anything. Some are reimbursement so just don't chose those if you don't want to put any money up front. Most pay by checks but alot of them are updating to Paypal and it generally takes 2 weeks to a month to get paid depending on the company.

And the paid me per hour and more than the regular employees. But shopping is something new. I am scared. I do not know if I should ask them how much the pay is or what. Or even ask them how it's done. Should I act like I know. I don't know. Help!
