I do not get it.

I am a part time vegetarian, but I do not understand eating things that look like meat, smell like meat, taste like meat, feel like meat, but are not meat.

If you want meat then eat meat......If you don't then don't.

Why try to be exactly like the thing you are trying to not be?

It boggles my mind.

@dmosier You are not alone, many people do not get it, yet many do. If you are old enough, you will remember when turkey burgers hit the scene. It was a big craze for a while. Its not really mind boggling to want to enjoy the similar taste, texture, and application of something, but with a healthier side effect. Vegan is healthier, tastier. When going this route, it allows for an easy transition, & doesnt force one to give up their favorite items, and is easier to get others on board.

I became vegetarian not because I don't like meat, but because I decided I didn't want to eat animals anymore. Immitation meat products can help a new vegetarian wean themselves off meat when they realize that there ARE really good alternatives that taste the same, but no animals were harmed to make them. I guess it's also the idea that you can eat just about ANYTHING you want without the added cholesterol, harder-to-digest proteins of meat, and NO animal cruelty.

Does the food come with labels which show saturated fat, fiber, calories, protein, etc. etc. ?

I am tempted to try the mahi mahi and chicken drummettes. I wish you did more vegan seafood and Caribbean style dishes.

Do you have to sign for the package? I definitely want to order but usually am not home when the deliveries are made so I cannot sign and it's sometimes too much of a hassle to go to the post office.

I had veggie brothers food at a friend's bbq style birthday party and it was awesome! definitely the best fake vegan meat I've ever had! No doubt! the burgers and the buffalo wings are really good! this all coming from someone who eats meat!
