  • Mike Oldfield should be proud to see this. Absolutely great! I can't wait to see it performed live. Thank you for sharing!

  • I saw him two years ago at New York faire in Tuxedo, and i'm totally excited for him to perform in New Jersey next weekend... in my town, totally going, no doubts!!!

  • I worked for him at the GA Ren Faire, and spent a few rainy afternoons talking with him when he couldn't play. He's an extremely talented man and at least when I knew him, he was humbled by his own experience. The power of the performance doesn't come through in a video. The videos NEVER do it justice. Frank is a wonderful musician. I miss seeing his carillon at the Georgia Ren Faire.

  • LOVE this guy I see him every year at Musikfest in Bethlehem PA !!!

  • saw these guys in florida.......

  • @mtgjig3 same here, I saw him at the Deerfield Beach Renaissance Festival

  • Many, many thanks for posting this. Heard him from halfway across the Faire and was drawn to him like a moth to a flame. He was playing this exact medley, but I couldn't get the CD, so it's a great comfort to know I can still listen to it, until next year. And yes, as amazing as this video is, the performance is ten times greater in person! If you haven't yet experienced the power of Cast In Bronze, make a plan to see this performance live!

  • You have to be there in person to really get the just of what he does!!! This video just does not do him justice! Frank is amazing!!!!

  • frank and cyrus are both amazing!

  • what "phantom of the opera song" is this?

  • @phantasma616 it doesn't start till abut 3:22

  • @tallperson605 ah thank you! i had listened to the first minute and a half and then started skipping to try and find it.

  • Saw him perform yesterday and the week before. Loved it. Wish I could've bought the CD, but at least there's the website so I can get it later.

  • this guy is awsome, I saw him in waxahachie it was great

  • Frank, you continue to amaze and haunt me... thanks so much for your music.

  • I saw him last weekend. I was dressed as a cannibal girl. But people mistook me for a zombie. :( *sigh.*

  • i love the way he moves around when he pauses or something lol. he would always like move his arms up in the air or something

  • This show is located in Waxahachie Texas at the ren Fair. I know this from the building that houses the instrument. The Carillon is a lovely instrument, and as well as this video is, it does the instrument no justice. If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend seeing even one of his shows. I love this instrument.

  • Ren Fairs are also a great place to indulge in a little bit of fantasy roll playing...err...the kind that doesnt involve getting down and dirty with your significant other. I saw Frank today at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie and was so moved I had to get two of his albums. It was like hearing Metallica for the first time for me. Simply a mind expanding, eye opening experiance.

  • ok.........erasebeast........wtf does dressing up as a demon at a Renaissance festival have ANYTHING to do with "The Renaissance"?

  • Ah... this was the song that got me interested in Frank... I'm a huge PotO fan and when I heard this I literally ran across the jousting feild and plopped myself right in front of him! I LOVE FRANK!

  • I just saw him at the North Carolina Renaissance Festival. It was rained and it set the mood perfectly. It was amazing!

  • I just saw him this past weekend at the New York Renaissance Faire and I bought all of his CDs. My friends and I sat there entranced as he played then ran to get his CDs. This music is so beautiful and what a performance! I hope he comes back next year!

  • I saw Cast in Bronze for the first time years ago when they went to EPCOT in Disney World. I loved the music the first time I heard it. It was amazing! Bought all their cds and even had them sign one of them. Have it on my ipod.... good workout music! :-)

  • I went to Scarbour faire by Waxahatiche, Tx. I loved it I followed the music till I found him and sat there and was just in awe!!!!! Got my pic. made with him. Love at first sight and sound Katie Ferguson, Wichita Falls , TX

  • This is in Waxahachie Texas. Its near Dallas.

  • it is not near dallas it is southish of Ft. Worth

  • It is near Dallas..I had to drive through it to get there

  • I think I'd know since I have lived there all my life... Either way its about 30 miles from Dallas. So yes... Its near Dallas...

  • does the instrument he plays have a specific name or is he just playing the bells(awsomely i might add)

  • It's called a Carillon

  • i just say him live 2day and i got a hug XD and 2 singed cds!! XD its better live!! u have to see him LIve he ROCKS!!!!

  • yoo hes mad cool his names is frank and uber cool

  • Scarborough Faire in Waxahachie TX built him this custom building. He can just pull his trailer inside and close the door. It gives better bandstand sound now sitting in front of it. He also plays at the Tex Ren Faire in Magnolia TX.

  • this guy is fuckin amazing hes like the buckethead of bells

  • My husband and I spent the longest time listening at the ren faire...all 3 of the weeks we went!!! I REALLY regret not buying the CD...I Definatly will this year!!! Dont miss out on getting it yourself, you will regret it all year like I did!

  • Used to own one of their CDs; played it till it was pretty much worn out, then somehow lost it. This was always my favorite track.

  • I saw him two years ago three times during Christmas. He's just awesome!

  • Mediocre video, but excellent sound reproduction.

  • i went there and saw him... he kissed my hand...

  • Where in hell did he get the money to buy that rig. The performance it stunning, Timing magnificents, Too bad the Video is so dark what a pleasure it would be to see him play. Wonderful.

  • He didn't buy it. It was given to him.

  • Good Gried - What was the cost of such a thing. Cast Bronz bells cannot come cheap. Someone paid a lot of money.

He is a good performer as well as a showman. One might vompare him to Virgil Fox of Pipe Organ Fame.

  • I asked him and he said it costs about $50 per pound of Carillon. That comes out to like $400,000 :-o

  • @ relytmada123: Price of fair ticket- $20 Price of Carillon- $400,000Hearing his awesome music live? Priceless.

There are some things money can't buy, for everything else, there's Mastercard. :p

  • haha yeah. i think his was given to him as a gift. or he borrowed it or maybe both. either way... im jealous

  • Hey!! I just thought of something!! The Huntchback of Notre Dame. Which was an old silent film back in the day. Wasn't that an old Carillon in the Bell Towers where the Huntchback lived in that story? If so? It was so enormous!!! Remember there were alot of bells in the towers in that old movie.

  • There would have been a rather large peal of bells in the tower. It is unlikely that they filmed in the actual tower but the impression of reality is present at least.

  • I saw him at the Pittsburgh Ren Fest yesterday (9/2/07). I am in absolute awe! Bought his CD "The Bells of Christmas" and plan to buy the others ASAP. He is incredibly talented and his performance had me in tears because it sounded so beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing this video!

  • I just saw him at the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival, and I could not move, we all just stood there, it was outstanding..

  • I watched this live a while back. I have the CD too, Wonderful Day I believe it was colled.

  • @ sasukethevengeful: Best Day Ever.

  • Thank you. Thank you so much. Frank is very important to me, and I miss seeing him all year until renfest rolls around... and this is the song that made me love him! He's a dear friend of mine, thank you so much for posting this!

  • this song is from Mike Oldfield. tubular bells!!

  • Yes, A really amazing rendition, interpretation. Mike probably never heard it played this way. Well done!

  • The song title is Medely. It is a mesh of Tubular Bells and POTO.

  • I just love to watch him in person. I get chills every time!!!

  • Wow!

I liked his Tubular Bells performance a lot as a standalone, but the change is really, REALLY amazing!

    I like this a lot!

  • <3

Hes awesome, saw him at a ren fest

  • This isnt the phantom of the opera, this is from the exorsicst

  • true, but it plays Phantom of the Opera in the background at one point.
