NO TASERS for law enforcement. Only officers with advanced training and experience should be allowed to carry firearms. This will force law enforcement to develope their communication skills and their interactions with the public. It will stop them from working from an ego and power hungry position. They will have to work on a much different level if they do not have tasers and immediate access to firearms. They would be less bullying and it would also help their public image.

The really sad thing is that if this cop had not been caught on tape - the guy getting arrested would have been no doubt been charged with resisting arrest (even though he didn't) for possession of narcotics (which weren't his) and any claims he made to innocence would have been dismissed as just the guilty trying to shift the blame and lay it on poor hard-working cops trying to keep the streets safe...

When my friend walked up to the car the off duty just put his badge out of the window as if to say, "I'm a cop so let me be." My friend grabbed the badge out of his hand and said, "come see me when you want it back," and walked away. The cop didn't have the guts to go get it so his chief had to do it..Lol!!

The really sad thing is that if this cop had not been caught on tape - the guy getting arrested would have been no doubt been charged with resisting arrest (even though he didn't) for possession of narcotics (which weren't his) and any claims he made to innocence would have been dismissed as just the guilty trying to shift the blame and lay it on poor hard-working cops trying to keep the streets safe...
