i wouldn't say that Naley having sex at that time was inapropriate. I think that this was Nathan's way of showing how greatful he was that he still had Haley. Yes it was sad that he lost his uncle Keith. But he almost losted Haley too,and at this moment he truely realized how much he loved her. So they made love that is what married people do.
