yeah I listened to a radio special on John Lennon this early morning focused on his production outside the Beatles from 69(might of started earlier, did he make solo stuff before Ono Band?) to the end of 72. I know I'm seriously retreading, but jeez did John also have a lot of material, if only Paul and John (and George!) could have cooled things down first. One little bit I learned today is that before John "left", he tried to get Cold Turkey released as a Beatles single....
