  • Thank you for doing this, I've stood on the memorial and seen the ship on a good day, my son's carrier moored across the harbor. Very moving.

  • What frightens me the most is that there are still people in the ship, locked in there forever.

  • It is amazing that pants can survive almost 60 years under water!

  • no dead bodies?

  • Haha, he said "hull opening" heh heh heh...

  • what's that at 5:27? good video loved it

  • This is the first time I have seen footage of any kind that's been taken of the inside of the ship. It makes me wonder who's uniform that was at one time, as well as that persons story and life.

  • @ThoughtTraveler watching this video makes me feal the death of the ship it as though i was in the ship great quality

  • no bodies? strange:/

  • just wondering has the deceased already been taken away from the ships?

  • @BlastaRama probably not

  • @thesparduck117 damn somee scary stuff

  • @BlastaRama not really the sea life probably ate it and crap thats even creepy

  • @thesparduck117 yeahh true aha well anyways this is a good video :D

  • Did more people die in this ship or the titanic??

  • Well done.

  • thanks great vidio,, look forward to more, have always wanted to dive on the USS Arizona you have done it for me Thanks again

  • He said penetration :) QC

  • Incredible Discovery! many American Soldiers died on that Ship!!! May they all rest in Peace!

  • Reminds me of James Cameron's robots "Jake and Elwood" that ventured deep inside the wreck of the Titanic in 2001. Think of what this technology could be like in ten years.

  • Wow.What an adventure threw the USS Arizona! I just wish that we could have seen more.My favorite part as well well the Officers Uniform. That was surreal, just like you said!

But by the way,it was a wonderful video.

May all the man who died on those ships that day Rest In Peace.

  • Totally wonderful!!

  • this is like digging graves up. let the ship R.I.P with all the men that lost there lives

  • Thank you for uploading this. Lest we Forget.

  • I remember learning in high school that there was taping coming from inside the wreck weeks after she sank. I wonder if there are some compartments that still do not have water in them. I have the upmost respect for all US service men and women.

  • Great video. Amazing scenes.

  • Excellent footage. I know a USS Arizona survivor and will make sure he sees this film. He was blown off the stern when Arizona went up and is always an honored guest in the museum where I work.

  • Isn't it illegal to dive on this wreck, especially considering how many hundreds of bodies are still inside of it??

  • @cbohar84 for private diving it is, but the Navy has dived it often since she sank, they keep track of the ship's deterioration & to preserve a record for future generations after the hull collapses.

  • @kdrapertrucker Whats spooky is that this wreck looks alot like the interior of the wreck of the Titanic that I have seen, it looks like its 12,000 feet underwater like Titanic when its only maybe 40 or 50 feet O.o

  • @kdrapertrucker you need a very, very special permit to do that. and you need a bigger one to take pictures of her underwater.

  • That was both powerful and compelling.

  • How did you get this footage? I thought you weren't allowed to dive on the USS Arizona?

  • great video, good work.

  • That video showed very little of anything.

  • truely solem

  • It looks like the face of George Washington in the pants a 4 35. What's he doing there?

  • where any bodies where seen inside the wreck?

  • a cemetery

  • thanks for the upload, very mesmerizing

  • @MrBlue024 \

I thought the uniform still hanging in the closet most surreal....

  • @ThoughtTraveler

its all pretty mind bending, but i agree, the intact uniform still on the hanger was pretty nuts

  • @ThoughtTraveler - has a body or remains ever been discovered by divers? Amazing video by the way...sent chills down my back

  • @MrPelhambay my guess is that any remains have been dissolved by the salt and organisms in the water, however, I'm not an expert, so don't quote me on it. I totally agree, great video. That phone at 1:00 got to me

  • @DoctorTranIsBack - your right it's like time just stood still on board the Arizona while time above ground moved on.

  • if I went into a shipwreck, I`d freak out, I just get scared going into a shipwreck, and I even might faint if Im swiming in the ocean, and a shipwreck cums out of nowhere, then I might faint, I just dont wanna see shipwrecks, i mean in the water in reality, looking at pics and vids is ok, but look ing at wrecks in blury water if scary to me

  • i dont want any bad comments on this i am a former marine i served in 1992 now my comment is there are over a thousand men on that ship still , why havent they gone in after those men just curious? are they just unreachable and are they perserved by the lack of air just curious people no need for any bad comments .

  • @myfriendangel1

NO,.. The remains are skeletal. The wreck is considered to be a grave site and the remains wil stay. deceased members of the crew and the MARDET are all owed to have thier remains interred on the wreck.

  • @101327 thanks for the information i was just curious ,and i just read to somthing also about the memorial that i wasnt aware of , i never that elvis played a huge part in the building of it ,wow i never new that.

  • FDR knew the Japs were coming but didn't warn Pearl Harbor! Top secret US govt documents and memo's detailing plans and communications before Pearl was attacked were released to the public by the 1966 Freedom Of Information Act directives by Pres. Clinton in 1995 released these documents. So those 2000+ sorry slobs could have been saved by the US govt but were sacrificed to force public opinion to go to war against Axis Powers. Read the book DAY OF DECEIT

  • @AccordGTR Right, and we never landed on the moon too right? and the documents you speak of are there as well right>

  • @shadowhunter388 yes almost half the book are references to those documents. The author Robert Stinnet is a WW2 US Navy war hero with several medals for gallantry who became an investigative journalist

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961

Hummmm....I sense a little hostility. Smile. I assume you are either another pathetic Troll or just a card carrying US hater.

In either case Japan is a radioactive wasteland and it seems that they are the ones that need the USAs help.

And as far as the bad economy I assume your 50 IQ is not able to comprehend that it is a GLOBAL economic crisis.

    Have a nice day : )

  • @ThoughtTraveler Speaking of IQ i heard that you Americans have pretty high IQ! You are all like rocket cientists

  • @ThoughtTraveler Dude? Shut the hell up. If we didn't save Japan, we would've had no choice but to burn 1,000,000 Japanese pigs. What are you good at besides twisted pornography involving fish? What good are you? We, luckily, saved the Chinese, stopped your comfort woman sex-pigsty of hatred, and taught you the true lesson you deserved. I thank those bombs. How's Hiroshima by the way?

  • @ThoughtTraveler I'm sure, fat ass. If China invades your ass, you'd be slaughtered within a day. Who actually has a tank with night-era sights? Type-90 has no night time optics. Pretty shitty. Also, what is the J-2 and your only carrier based off of? Tarawa class amphibious warship/F-16. P.S: We helped Japan during Fukushima. You dumbasses hid the facts from us, getting more of your people killed. Smarrrt. Who's the dumbass, genocide, pig now? You. Sexist dog.

  • @ThoughtTraveler Love your grammar by the way! I do hope China invades you. See what they do to you. Sadly, Japan would desperately need us. You're even copying the F-22 with your latest stealth project! It's absolutely sad. And by the way? If Japan has a mind, then why did they pull a suicidal attack on Pearl? In the Philippines, Japanese pigs suffered 2,000 casualties to disease due to a lack of actual medical supplies. The Japanese had no fire control on most BBs, and had no "actual" ships.

  • @ThoughtTraveler I am so glad you got a top comment. I am sick and tired of liberal Americans saying we deserved to be attacked and that Japan was right in trying to kill us, and getting a top comment.

  • @rprince418 hello im lee and i agree with you very much too often we are told we have to agree with some bodys thoughts well me for one im sick of it im english and im told every day just get on with it well no more we and i meen both countrys need to stand up and shout at the top of our voices our forfathers fought for freedom of speach we are here to defend that right . it willl fall on deff ears but lets give it a go any way

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 IQ equivalent of gravel I see Sooks ..

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 Don't worry, you won't get any begging from any real Americans.

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 shut up this video is interesting unlike you the wreck is degradeing and if we are going to preserve history we must do it now yes the economys bad but who cares im still voteing obama

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961

    One word Hiroshima

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 You're a joke.

  • harvest her oil??? is there enough down there worth harvesting?

  • @Discokid715 about 500,000 gallens

  • The human remains would have been disolved by the salt water many years ago. All that would be left would be clothing, I believe.A magnificent upload. Very interesting.

  • @Tony63909

Thanks for your positive comment. I am glad you enjoyed it.

I though the officers uniform hanging in the closet was the most surreal. Also that phone sitting on the desk for 70+ years is fascinating.

  • @ThoughtTraveler It has always been my dream to go to Pearl Harbor to pay my respects to the men murdered their.Of all of the evil things that other nations have done to this country, Pearl Harbor takes the cake. An unproked, cowardly, broadsided attack that cost the lives of so many young people. For ever, the Japanese people should be ashamed.

  • @Tony63909

Unlike the Germans the Japanese have NEVER apologized for the atrocities they committed in the name of the Emperor. They use Nagasaki and Hiroshima as cop outs and play the victim.

  • @ThoughtTraveler When I encounter anyone that criticizes America for using the A-bombs on Japan, I always say that when you fuck with the baddest(USA) don't bitch when you get a bloody nose.

  • @ThoughtTraveler the fact you call nagasaki and hiroshima a cop out? You are worth less than shit.

  • @Tony63909 no.The human remains are still there. The water preserves them.

  • @NIGHTMARE5008 According to Robert Ballard, the discoverer of the Titanic. He said that there would be no human remains left either out of or inside the Titanic. He explained that the salt water would have dissolved all human remains, including bones. At Pearl Harbor, the only difference would have been the water pressure. The salt water would have still erased all human remains.

  • @Tony63909 a ok thank you very much

  • cool vid and RIP to all the salors that died on 7 december 1941 in the arazona

  • cant imagine being involved in the pearl harbor attack... hours after the attack stoped and the arizona was 40 feet from the surface they could still hear people banging on the walls form inside the boiler rooms... they were trapped in the boiler room for hours while the water level rose inch by inch... one of the worst ways to die.

  • This is a good thing, indeed the Arizona is a gravesite, but then, so are cemeteries, civillian, and military, and people visit those all the time. By allowing the public to see inside historic craft, gives all of us a better understanding of why such things happened, and who we are today. Like the Titanic and other famous, and non famous ships, we can learn a lot about our past, and our future, through the exploration of these vessels. Thanks for the video!

  • Why cant they bring it up everybody would like to see it.

Dont give me any of that boring war grav crap.

No bodies wouldbe left by now.

  • @ajay999999 boring war grave crap? really? show some fucking respect, its not about the bodies its about showing respect to the men who died there.

  • @ZuliBlade You can respect them even more by seeing the wreck on the surface.

  • @ZuliBlade boooring just some stupid ship thats old and rusty *yawn*

  • @ajay999999 It's a tomb, asshole. Just like you wouldnt dig up your grandparents just to see their coffin.

  • @TofurkeyMan No I wouldnt they were cremated

  • @ajay999999 Your words are those of a spoiled selfish child.

  • Thats awesome and creepy at the same time.

  • thank you so much u helped me on a report thnx for uploading

  • 1941

  • jasonalexjohn the bodies are in ashes or shep to sea.

  • I'd be scared to run into a body

  • According to History channel, The Australians sent a warning that a massive fleet of Japanese ships are sailing to Pearl Harbor. The Americans ignored this because they wanted to declare war against the Japanese and if they declared war before Japan attacks, the axis powers will help Japan and declare an all-out war against America

  • @ch606 thats retarded. they still would have gone to war even if japan's plan was spoiled and we were able to minixize the damage. we still would have declared war on japan even for just planning and trying to attack the united states. i dont believe that.

  • @Discokid715 Hey! Don't blame me, blame history channel and btw i have 4 people that agrees.

  • wat happened to the bodies arnt their like bones or somthing

  • @jasonalexjohn after 50 + years underwater, the bodies have probably deterioated. the most (highly doubtful though) you would find of the trapped men is maybe pieces of uniform

  • @jasonalexjohn if anything, the deceased sailors would be far inside the ship, unreachable by these divers.those were the ones that unfortunately didnt escape.i dont know,im all for history and exploration, but i think those inner rooms in the ship should be left untouched.if someone would like to see the inside of this ship, dig up old photos or go to the memorial,im sure you could see it when it was a new ship.

  • This is amazing!
