i have some great ideas for my next trap but dont want to make it until i need it as it will be a waste of time.
i imagine that there may be a visitor soon as it is getting colder and wetter now and they will need somewhere to live. i will certainly be showing a video of the next trap when they appear.

Is this a joke?
There's nothing "hidden" about this. Just press the screen upper left (as you did).
It's a standard Garmin's GPS info, and anyone can access it anytime (well if device is ON).

Hey cool, works on mine as well, all I need do is press and hold the bars for a few secs and up it comes :-)

If the unit it's on, you can press where the bars are for a few seconds a you will get this screen too.
