my friend played this while i was on dmt last night with 5 of my friends.. it was the most incredible unimaginable experience of my life that blew my mind into an uncontrollable reality i never thought was possible
Do you know who recorded this their million selling debut?A toothless hippie who had no idea, all according to Carlos---No Bass says Carlos-Brent Dangerfield I say.He did what he could do under circumstance-to make a record in 3 weeks.
Chepito is a Killer..a witch absolutely amazing. The whole concept of music is from the conguero demon who play, dance, laughs and make blaze's circles around the rest of the performers. ---José Chepito Areas..RULES---
@Peruanas0 so the conga solo is chepito, right? He is amazing. I'm pretty sure he does the timbale solo on Toussaint L'Overture on Moonflower... phenomenal!!
To CAS1xtz: You tell someone to stop telling others how to live their lives and then you do the same? You tell someone that they need to walk in anothers' shoes and then you proceed to tell lecture them, without having walked in theirs? Who should get a grip but you? Whether you believe this or not, everyone has a cross. Those who say that God doesn't exist make themselves the god of their own lives. To say "it's our moral sense" is ridiculous. Men wouldn't have any morals if it wasn't for God.
thank you so much for posting this...my dad used to play this song like everyday....me and my brother are getting smoked out and listening to this rite now...and i can see why my dad loved it so much..
back in 1970: when the needle hit the vinyl, and this shit started screaming in my ear,i thought i had died and gone to heaven. carlos and his ax had chopped me up into bits. the universe was never the same. VIVA SANTANA !!!!
Michael Shrive has always been my favorite drummer. Shrive, Chepito, and Carabello are a deluxe percussion section surpassed by none. Remember Soul Sacrifice at Woodstock?.....Nuff rezpeckt !!!
@562sAnthm .... dumbass. thats not at all what his early life was. he was born in mexico, his dad was a mariachi. he learned violin and then guitar, and they moved to san francisco and he didn't run away from any body. check your facts dude
@CAS1xtz Whahaaha, sorry but this makes me laugh so hard, speaking of up tight, holy F*ck man get a grip. Stop telling people how to live their lives and how they should feel, Take a good look at yourself and open your eyes to the fact that there is nothing like a God or Lord Jesus. Its our moral sense that keeps our world from falling apart, not some bearded guy on a cloud
@CAS1xtz With all due respect to the ideal behind your statement to LoneWolfUli, sadly you do not, cannot, or will not walk in his shoes, shoes that are likey indigenous, oppressed, repressed, goated and much poorer than your. Kiitos 69MC97. Point taken. BUT...there's nothing wrong with having a bit of cultural pride. Just a tad. I realize this comment was made two years ago and I have done a lot of growing up since. I bet that you must have some pride for being Finnish, no? After all, Finland is awesome!
Wonderful music! The original Santana Blues Band was very amazing: Santana, Rollie, Areas, Carabello, Shrieve and Brown. WOW! :D

@LoneWolfUli - by your thinking, a German should be ashamed of being German because of Hitler, and proud of being German because of Beethoven?
YOU had nothing to do with where you were born!
YOU had nothing to do with the birthplace of Mr Santana!
Live for yourself, be responsible for yourself, in the eyes of God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ!
