  • Wonderful music! The original Santana Blues Band was very amazing: Santana, Rollie, Areas, Carabello, Shrieve and Brown. WOW! :D

  • Merci... j'ai violer le replay...

  • This song really kicks ass from the 3 minute mark on.........

  • my friend played this while i was on dmt last night with 5 of my friends.. it was the most incredible unimaginable experience of my life that blew my mind into an uncontrollable reality i never thought was possible

  • thi shit is sick

  • man what memories

  • Do you know who recorded this their million selling debut?A toothless hippie who had no idea, all according to Carlos---No Bass says Carlos-Brent Dangerfield I say.He did what he could do under circumstance-to make a record in 3 weeks.

  • first track of first album. here started a journey. and damn if carlos don't luv da' sistahs.

    saludos

  • This song is in my DNA. I don't know what made me wake up just now and want to hear this song...it barely even has words.

  • This is excellent...We need more music like this again...

  • I forgot about this great album cover.

  • ESPERANDO

  • u shoul be proud for being yourself

  • Turn it up!!!

  • I love this music.

  • It's The Great Santana Band!.....Nobody But The Great Santana Band

  • @brorapp999 The original line up was the best!

  • can anyone help me out here is there a specific name for this conga rythym?

  • @SirDobsley is it like a rhumba??

  • @SirDobsley rhumba guaguanco

  • @everythingiplay ... ah well - I was close - what is the significance of 'guaguanco' when added to rhumba?

  • Rollie and carlitos is simply fantastic on this.

    But. ... Chepito...Ay pinche cabrón!

Chepito is a Killer..a witch absolutely amazing. The whole concept of music is from the conguero demon who play, dance, laughs and make blaze's circles around the rest of the performers. ---José Chepito Areas..RULES---

    Awesome.

  • @Peruanas0 so the conga solo is chepito, right? He is amazing. I'm pretty sure he does the timbale solo on Toussaint L'Overture on Moonflower... phenomenal!!

  • @Rikasa75 That's right, here Chepito plays the congas.

But in Savor, i'm not sure, anyway, Chepito still the boss.

  • To CAS1xtz: You tell someone to stop telling others how to live their lives and then you do the same? You tell someone that they need to walk in anothers' shoes and then you proceed to tell lecture them, without having walked in theirs? Who should get a grip but you? Whether you believe this or not, everyone has a cross. Those who say that God doesn't exist make themselves the god of their own lives. To say "it's our moral sense" is ridiculous. Men wouldn't have any morals if it wasn't for God.

  • thank you so much for posting this...my dad used to play this song like everyday....me and my brother are getting smoked out and listening to this rite now...and i can see why my dad loved it so much..

  • back in 1970: when the needle hit the vinyl, and this shit started screaming in my ear,i thought i had died and gone to heaven. carlos and his ax had chopped me up into bits. the universe was never the same. VIVA SANTANA !!!!

  • I wonder if this is what Jesus would listen to

  • stupendum ,ardrack1 from Rio !

  • Just to remind people Santana used to be a magnificent band before it all went down the toilet.

  • Great album cover!

  • ohh and it has legs too xD im stupid

  • I never noticed there was 3 faces on the front of this album, look at the "eyebrows" and in the middle of them of the lion

  • @dillonpk - 6 faces, look again :O)

  • @CAS1xtz 8 faces, look at the eyeballs!

  • Rico Sabor!!!! Full latin music Santana!

  • the guitar sounds so distant or is it just my speakers

  • @Skidhblanir No something is wrong

  • Santana must have one the greatest rhythm sections in rock music - the successful symbiosis of Latin and rock ! Thanks for the upload uklangang !

  • The great thing about this album was that it wasn't just Carlos Santana. All the musicians did a great job....

  • Mike Carabello, congas. Greatttttttttttttttttt!!!!

  • @3584817

I think Chepito did the solo though - he is also and awesome conguero. Regardless; one of my favourite ever conga solos.

  • @Rikasa75

    orgullo nicaraguense

    chepito arias the best

  • Super awesome album art!

  • I love the percussion!

  • love the bass line!

  • damn.....

  • I looove this stuff...

  • wow.. some of those letters you have to type in for the "spam "thing.. aren't that easy to see.. lol..

  • what is it that they say in the very front?

  • #Waiting it's the best song of SANTANA!!!

    This song is very thrilling.

  • Santana is a music icon with decades of hits. His music touches your soul. The horns, percussions, and his guitar playing really moves you.

  • Carlos was born in Mexico him and his father used to play in the whore houses until he ran away

  • @562sAnthm .... dumbass. thats not at all what his early life was. he was born in mexico, his dad was a mariachi. he learned violin and then guitar, and they moved to san francisco and he didn't run away from any body. check your facts dude

  • damn im gonna have to go threw pops old crates so i can get me some santana bongo break beatage.

love Santanas music. i remember playin in the yard and hearin pops blasting his AbrAxAs lp. and other stuff like Malo and Azteca...damnnnn

  • nope santana is 100% mexican he was born in mexico look it up

  • Comment removed

  • @ddja57 no difference just trying to say that hes mexican not chicano

  • Comment removed

  • Good song. he's not mexican though.Chicano. American with mexican heritage. Born in the gold ole USA.

  • The beginning remembers me El Nicoya =)

  • Bless the lord for music and uklangang!!

  • Wickedly Awesome!

'Specially from the 3 minute mark

  • Holy crap, JUST SO GOOD.

  • JOURNEY INCUBATING...

  • Chepito's solo is just freaky - one of my favourite... every though technically he was the timbalero!

  • correct me if i am wrong but this is the first song on santanas first studio album right?

  • YES!! This is thier first album(debut). I think it's some of their best material. "Soul Sacrifice" is off this album as well.

  • Mr. Carlos makes me proud of being Mexican!

  • nice. i never knew carlos was a mexican

  • @LoneWolfUli - by your thinking, a German should be ashamed of being German because of Hitler, and proud of being German because of Beethoven?

YOU had nothing to do with where you were born!

YOU had nothing to do with the birthplace of Mr Santana!

Live for yourself, be responsible for yourself, in the eyes of God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ!

  • @CAS1xtz Whahaaha, sorry but this makes me laugh so hard, speaking of up tight, holy F*ck man get a grip. Stop telling people how to live their lives and how they should feel, Take a good look at yourself and open your eyes to the fact that there is nothing like a God or Lord Jesus. Its our moral sense that keeps our world from falling apart, not some bearded guy on a cloud

  • @CAS1xtz With all due respect to the ideal behind your statement to LoneWolfUli, sadly you do not, cannot, or will not walk in his shoes, shoes that are likey indigenous, oppressed, repressed, goated and much poorer than your. Empathy begins by walking ten feet in the shoes of your brother; open your eyes, please.

  • @LoneWolfUli I hear you my brother, BROWN n PROUD ese!!

  • @LoneWolfUli Mr Carlos makes me proud knowing I am a finn but aspiring to be a human being.

  • @69MC97gc

Kiitos 69MC97. Point taken. BUT...there's nothing wrong with having a bit of cultural pride. Just a tad. I realize this comment was made two years ago and I have done a lot of growing up since. I bet that you must have some pride for being Finnish, no? After all, Finland is awesome!

    :P

  • Oh didn't realize I make this comment from my other account.

  • nice jam

  • The best!! Great!

  • Great song.

In the mid seventies to eigties, this song was used for the opening credits to a political magazine in german public TV (a really serious one)

  • ...mmm mmm good!
