some times a non professional video can still get the point across. way to get your kids involved. good choice in music. gob bless your business and your family
You can always tell the posters that lack experience. Get a sunny day in Texas and you know the spray is working by the feel, thats all of the proof I need. It doesnt make it cool by any means, but it makes it tolerable, not to mention (wittumy) you can word it that way or you can word it 90%effective vs 75%effective, a 15% difference.
Please disregard the previous posts uninformed info. See ASTM C-1321 Standard Practice for Installation and Use of Interior Radiation Control Coatings in Buildings. RIMA (Reflective Insulation Manufacturers' Association) in 2006 tested 17 products from 10 manufacturers and found 4 products that met the ASTM standards. Obviously, this comes as a disappointment to some people (wittumy). Free advice; find your own info, don't believe all posts.
There is no such thing as a radiant barrier paint. Radiant barriers according to ASTM are products that emit or radiate no more than 10%. The best paints emit 24%...almost 2 1/2 times the emissivity required to be classified as a radiant barrier. Radiant barriers are aluminum foil products that emit 3%. RIMA has asked that you paint contractors refrain from calling them radiant barriers....please comply.
There needs to be an air space between the roof decking and the radiant barrier, so this method cannot work.

one more thing, is that a standard paint sprayer?

You need a bigger rig...I use a 3/4 horsepower, .43 gal/min sprayer, and at least a .19 tip.
