  • no album is the same nor the songs contained within. some songs are on other albums are titles of other albums. so it does not matter how it all looks just what they want. hey hey what can i do is not even on any album it was supposed to be on 3. also traveling riverside blues didnt make the cut either the lemon song took its place. and if page scouting robert plant while in the band of joy didnt fight to keep his drummer (john bonzo bonham) would be no video to appreciate!!!!!!

  • by far one of the true innovators creators and overall virtuoso's of the guitar this life will ever know. the true measure of greatness is never the spoken word but forever the story each note portrays taking a life all its own. All you have to know is that the song stairway to heaven was written in 10 minutes. the band changed the face of rock as we know it often immitated but never the mighty led zeppelin to me is on a journey into music that shall never come down......page is a freakin god

  • Heartbreaker is the best solo ever, EVER.

  • Jimmy is the Master!

  • the greatest of all...

  • the rover comes before in my time of dying. other than that, chill video dude

  • I think percussion's ruled in fool in the rain, just my opinion.

  • I still think tea for one was the best ever.

  • Don't worry that dumb ass will eventually die,Cruel yes?

  • shud cuda wuda???? hell yea

  • Great Video... thoroughly enjoyed it...almost have all the LP versions of the albums and I still can't believe how good the solos sound on record... but I'm surprised that "Thank You" didn't make the cut.

  • i like im gonna crawl Great choices.

  • Mad love for Page, but I think the point fans of Jimmy must concede is that while he's not the SMOOTHEST soloist, he has the feel touch that heartless shredders can't come near.

  • There must be a shrine dedicated to Jimmy Page somewhere at the Gibson guitar factory...maybe over in the Les Paul wing next to a Joe Walsh shrine.. Same at Fender maybe next to a Jeff Beck shrine. How cool is it that Joe Walsh & Jeff Beck...guitar icons in their own right...gifted Jimmy Page with the guitars that he used to created some of the most immortal rock & roll riffs ever!

  • Aquilles last stand.. for me is the best...but they are ALL awesome and incredibly difficult to imitate... he played as if it was something he was born to do..

  • i used to bang my gf to the 'whole lotta love' stops - then get up and rewind the tape, - over and over, - === maybe that's part of the reason we broke up .........

  • Taken me most of a lifetime to fully realize the real secret to Jimmy Page's solo's is the collective genius of the rest of the band driven ever onward by John Bonham's unbelievable skill on a very basic drum kit.

R.i.p. John Henry (Bonzo) Bonham 1948-1980.

  • Jimmy is the FACKIN bizzo!! FULL STOP!!

  • no doubt these solos are hard to play but they seem really dissonant.. or is it just me?

  • Heartbreaker and since i've been loving you kills everything lol

  • This is missing the BBC Sessions version of Thank You.

  • Jimmy is beyond amazing. He just stands there and smiles, making it all look effortless.

  • Page/Hendrix = Gods

  • @jimihendrixfan2008 I'd like to add David GIlmour to that list.

  • @Chromie192 True. Also Ritchie Blackmore and Gary Moore.

  • @Chromie192 Comfortably numb is the worst solo ever so don't even mention him near a led zeppelin video >.>

  • @DracoMasterXD Right despire what one person thinks David GIlmour is an amazing guitarist and really thats the worst solo?

    Hyperbole much?

  • @DracoMasterXD If u think thats was the worst solo ever then u havent heard lil wayne play the guitar

  • @123rik4567 i cringe at the thought of that. but anyway it's kind of hard to hear the guitar when it's not plugged in and you're playing it with your thumb, LOL

  • @Ignore14 He has a music video where at the end alls hear is him paying the guitar and let me tell u its just sad.

  • I do think his solo piece on Stairway to Heaven is his best.

  • nobody's fault but mine?

  • Stairway To Heaven should be first on everybody's list!

  • WHEN THE ROLLING STONES R ANY BAND NEEDED A EXTRA GUITARIST IT WAS ALWAYS PAGE SAME WITH THE WHO,THE KINKS AND SO MANNY BANDS IT WOULD BLOW UR MIND HES THE MOST ACCOMPLISHED GUITARIST/MUSISIAN/ARTIST/WRITER/PERFORMER OF ALLTIME AND 4EVER

  • this list could go on and on lol. Awesome job!

  • I believe it's called " South bound Saurez" from In Through the Outdoor. That should replace the "Tea For One" solo. "Good Times, Bad Times" should be replaced by "Candy Store Rock". It's hard not to find some place to put Nobody's Fault But Mine and Custard Pie, not to mention Ten Years Gone and Sick Again. But you made the list. It looks as if you woked on it and it shows.

  • one of my favorite solos are the dazed and confused and the heartbreaker..i just learned the solo to dazed and confused and it is hard like a MOFO!!!!

  • today somebody told me that jimmy paige was not that good of a guitar player and i should have kicked his ass

  • @lolygagin34000 that person should really reavaluate what a good guitarist is then come hes not good ok how come he has more hits than just about anyone has the most famous guitar solo and he just kicks ass.

  • @lolygagin34000 Not necessary, he's already injured. Anybody who says that will get random pains.

  • @lolygagin34000 Someone is gonna tell you again. I've heard over the years that he's the best or something, so i came hear to a random video on Youtube, hoping to feel what people have said for years. I closed my eyes, and hoped it would live up to they hype... But what heard is what plenty of bands had the ability to do. Granted I'm 3:35 seconds in, but i do hope it gets better. Have a nice day.

  • this is a brilliant list

  • @hteverow Much appreciated.

  • My favourtie is Pagey's 1977 solo that he did after Over The Top/Moby Dick

  • Noo. you just need to make a vid with all of pages solos. so we can orgas over tht. better yet everyone single song ever from page.

  • Comment removed

  • Dude I appreciate your efforts for sure but I can't stand listening too little shorts like this. It's worst than having to pull out just before you're about to get a nut.

  • 0:56 before he did that picture he sold his soul for the pick of destiny.... then he quit that pussy ass band and forged led zeppelin

  • 0:56 before he did that picture he sold his soul for the pick of destiny

  • wow what a bunch of dogs --jimmy never left a page of his list

  • bron yr aur stomp shouldve been on :(

  • this isn't in order, right?

  • @TheGreatManOfSteel fuck you man, yu dnt know music if yu think this band sucks

  • @TheGreatManOfSteel funny too you only have gay ass fairy faggotry subscriptions ya faggottttttt

  • @TheGreatManOfSteel worst band? thems fightin words fairy boy faggotry

  • 3.Good Times Bad Times

    2.Dazed and Confused

    1.Since I've Been Loving You

  • achilles last stand is my favorite

  • just think the guy who first played STAIR WAY TO HEAVEN! i think that honor

could give a guy a swelled ego. he really is one of the great ones thats for sure.

  • Good choices - I personally would have found a way to include the solo from Hots On For Nowhere. Page reportedly recorded that solo on no sleep and it has an otherworldly quality to it. Here are three more I would have considered:

    * Nobody's Fault But Mine

    * Custard Pie

    * The Ocean

  • the song remains the same.... THERES A FUCKING SOLO IN THE INTRO!!!!!!!! lol

  • Bad solo by Jimmy Page? Naah, doesn't exist..but Since I've been loving you is sheer genius and musical artistry

  • well... their 1st album was good, and so was the second one...the third one was amazing, 4 was greatness, HELL, ALL OF THEM ARE GOOD!

  • best guitarist ever

  • "The Rover" solo is insane!

  • @libetwines i totally agree. I dunno what it is about it but that solo is the shit. and I just recently learned how to play it.

  • Check out the solo of "Thank you" BBC sessions. That's probably my favorite live Jimmy Page solo!!

  • The song remains the same is like one gigantic amazing solo! At least on Jimmys part. Thank you for making the rover one of them. the rover= most underrated zeppelin song

  • The song remains the same is like one gigantic amazing solo! At least on Jimmys part

  • Awesome job!!!

  • TheBernardo, thanks for the solos!!!!!!!!! me likey very much!

  • awesome video

  • I almost agree 100 percent!!! Great choices!!!!

  • TheIncredibleCommie

yeah youve done much more than he ever has its not like he influenced millions like you have....... oh wait nevermind

  • where is the solo from "thank you (bbc sessions version)"???? that one its truly epic.

  • 65 people accidently hit dislike

  • Probably the worst guitar player that ever lived.

  • @TheIncredibleCommie dumbass motherfucker you dont know a fucking legend when u see one so shut the fuck up and get the fuck off this video faggot

  • @TheIncredibleCommie Who??? Jimmy Page?!?!?!

  • Dude... You missed some. I am a L.Z. fan too, but you can't categorize Jimmy's best solos. He's live performances were greater than his studio playing. You can't put Led Zeppelin in a box & say "look what I did!"... I'm just saying...

  • @scarredman42 I am so glad TheBernardo92 did this uploader for us Zepp/Jimmy Page lovers. A little crdeit is due! And this is far from being in a box....

  • great list man, one ofy favorites is celebration day

  • you guys make cold gay sound like a beer or something pass me a gay will you make sure its cold

  • page hendrix van halen and clapton are the greatest

  • @nightprowler17 you forgot stevie ray

  • page is fukin god along with hendrix and clapton

  • Very nice. Jimmy Page rules, no one will ever duplicate him.

  • in my time of dyin' baby!

  • my favourite is achille's last stand's solo....

    fantastic

  • Once in a lifetime talent.

  • i hope to god someone will come along and play like this

  • Good luck getting musicians like this nowadays. Everything today is corporate created. Just like the news.

  • Why isnt great music like this being being made today by other bands? Where the Hell did all the guitar heroes go? now we have American idol and Cold Play, or is it Cold Gay?

  • I agree w/ you 100%.

  • Well we have Joe Satriani, bu Cold Gay likes to steal his songs.

  • we have omar rodriguez-lopez from the mars volta. he is a fantastic guitarist in a fantastic band. look them up. our generation has stuff to show for itself . its just not mainstream like it used to be

  • Jimmy Page FTW!!!

  • Since I've been loving you & The Rain Song are my favorite songs.

  • @esnees123 mine too!

  • @esnees123 TOO

  • the number 1 shouldnt be number 1

  • They are in no order if you would have read the information you would know.

  • Thank you.

  • where is when the levee breaks solo?

  • sounds like all of his solo's start with a repetition of a few notes played fast....

    :)

  • achilles last stand is my current favourite!

    but you can't pick one.

    they're all great!

  • in the evening is my favorite.

  • few of my favorites are "Thank You" and "Tangerine"

  • nice

  • 6:45

  • lol in that yardbirds picture Page looks like he's been some places and seen some things which, perhaps, don't really exist....

    i adore that man

  • achilles last stand shoulda been there!

  • achilles last stand is there

  • STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whole lotta love, dazed and confused, stairway to heaven, when the levee breaks, since i've been loving you, kashmir, ramble on, babe im going to leave you and the lemon song is wat i say are the best

  • whole lotta love, black dog, achilles last stand, stairway to heaven, and since ive been loving you- best zep songs in my opinion

  • u forgot over the hills and far away

  • oh sorry didnt read discription until after i posted the first comment sorry

  • heartbreaker is better then the place you gave it

  • awesome, thanks for posting. Nice job, and funny as hell comments, by the way :)

  • u ar a genius, just like page

  • The BEST of the best !

    Zeppelin are the greatest !!

  • Zep dvd is a must

  • no

    yes yesssss ohhhhhhh faster

  • I have always luved LZ tea for one one off the most bluesy hard core instramentals evr

  • jimmy PAGE #1 amen!

  • whole lotta love is my fav....

  • Me too!

  • Best Jimmy Page solos

    1.all of them

    2.all of them

    3.all of them

    etc.

  • can´t get any choose, ah?I got the same problem ;-)

  • Behave, yourself please.

  • Fool in the Rain is probably the most complex solo in the group.

  • I agree, Fool in the rain has got to be a difficult song to learn

  • You need to include the version of "Thank You" from BBC Sessions. I know it's technically a live track, but that solo rocks as hard as Stairway's.

  • my fav guitar player

  • this is great. you can really see how Jimmy grew and improved as a guitarist through the years.

  • TSRTS-definitely agree there. One of my favs. And 12 string.

  • summer of love was 1967

  • Nice vid. I still reckon you shoulda put Shook Me on it. That solo makes me feel like I'm chasing gulls on a jet-ski way out beyond the breakers. The solo on Dazed and Confused is like having an enema delivered by a man dressed up as a pantomime robin with frosty feathers. Still a good solo but not the same.

  • Immigrant Song is my favourite

  • awesome vid dude

  • One of the best guitarists ever, no question about it! Great list....

  • have you made any videos where there are absolutely no lyrics in them, just the instrumentals? I'm just curious.

  • Achilles last stand is one of the few zeppelin songs that I didn't get bored with because its so awesome. You didn't put ten years gone or what is and what should never be so I am angry with you. Their less popular songs are way better then songs like "whole lotta love" and "heartbreaker".

  • 1969 was the best year in history for music, fast cars, drugs and free love.

  • summer of love 1969

  • jimmy rockz my sockz!

  • I knoooooooow!! I <3 him :)

  • i can't quit you baby

    god i love that song

  • but if u could, you would put good times bad times best right?

  • Goooooooooooooooooooooood stuff

  • THE ROVER!!!! WOOT!!!! Totally underrated song. Also, where's Celebration day? That solo is short, but totally satisfying.

  • achilles last stand...

    yeaaah

  • stairway to heaven is the best

  • true, my opinion anyway

  • best guitarist ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • met jimmy and he is a really nice guy. my fav guitarist of all time. hope he plays again befor he goes!

  • u met jim!? u lucky bastard! id giv anything to meet him :( lol

  • yea he came to cork to open an exibition on william burgess. jimmy lives in his house in kensington london and the cathedral here in cork was designed by willian burgess. its full of gargoiles and gothic stuff. He went for a pint with his brother to one of the local bars.

  • sweet!

  • uber jealous

  • He'll never "go". Jimmy and the rock gods live forever.

  • STAIRWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY TO HEAVEN

  • Too good to be true..

  • travelling riverside blues has to be one of the most underated zep songs. all though there are many, that one is probably the least looked at.

  • Great but your missing 10 years gone's solo

  • not to be a dick, BH is good, but he isnt anywhere near the top.

  • yer i suppose ur rite

bh has no emotion,he just sits there with a mask on,shredding insanely fast.

  • hey poussyledzep... robert plant is the best and so what if he doesnt want to tour he's still one of the best singers of all time.

  • Jimmy the best ever!!we really need a Zepp tour!!but the fucker Plant refused

    What an asshole

  • that was awesome dude !! thanks i needed that !!

  • Also, solo on nice snogging song Thankyou (kiss'n'make-up song, which pleases the women and has helped me loads) and No Quarter - takes me back to gr8 times.

  • Very enjoyable!

Also check out solos on LZ2 - What is and what should never be - it's a musical version of the male orgasm - Lemon Song has a similar climax, but wud not recommend having sex while listening to either! Also LZ2, Ramble On has 2 tiny but also little 'solos' which each have 2 overdubbed guitar solos - subtle and tasty. Also, check out the end of Gallows Pole on LZ3, which has a mandolin crackin' away while an awesome, manic guitar solo sort of hangs around in the background.

  • the "great ones" list ->In my opinion:

    1) Hendrix

    2) Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Vernon Reid

    3) Clapton, Jeff Beck

    4) Blackmore

    Cheers!

  • COULDN'T AGREE MORE!!!!
