So much for accusations that the EU isn't "open". Trouble is, in Britain people don't know enough about the EU, only what the hostile tabloids tell them. If people had impartial information about the EU, I'm sure most people would welcome further European integration.

Maybe you could be right, I'm no expert but, I do know that the average Brit still thinks England is a big Empire. WW2 England suffered but nothing like the EU and Russia to me this and Rupert Murdock not liking. EU rules with on one person controlling so much media is the reason for the hostility.

You have a point I was born in Britain I have little knowledge of the EU mostly negative. I know about WW1 and WW2 middle ages etc.
