This boy is both uncouth and jeuvanile. He literally comes across as a dysfunctional and unpleasant teenager. I know Asperger's and this boy comes across as very inarticulate and simply just vulgar. His behavior in this documentary is an awful "example" of people with Asperger's and he just uses it as a lease to act out. The boy has NO discipline.and comes across as a moron more than anything else. This documentary is an embarrassment.
Probably he was coddled and babied as a child and learned to be a spoiled brat. The brother of my brother's best friend has a son with AS who is babied and spoiled rotten and I would not be surprized if he grows up to be like this kid.
they could make a film called cheshire pscyho about this lad, would be a teenage english american pscyo. but seriously having autism is life ruining and its very depressing and hard to deal with and by the way people with as don;t have to be nice. in fact i myself tend to avoid people rather than hang around hoping, coz after 2 years of that i can;t be fucked
If people are "tight" to you all the time then YOU need to look at yourself and figure out why that is. You are likely sending off signals (albeit unintended) to others that they interpret as you being "tight" to them.
@AustinJohnson07 No, you act like a different person, because you are a different person. It's a spectrum and a disorder not a blueprint for every brain with AS.
Has he been diagnosed? If so, I would seriously consider re-evaluating the diagnosis. Although socially awkward at times, his manner seems more...bipolar. I would guess cyclothymia, but I'm not a professional. I would highly suggest considering this possibility, even if it turns out not to be the case.
It is interesting reading all these comments! It is clear to me that we are all individuals! Society wishes to conform us to one social code. I think that Jack was honest about himself to the point of rudeness. It is not as simple as saying "retard" or saying "grow up." These comments don't help people....like Jack said "they only depress him." I agree that he needs help with his social skills, but not at the expense of his uniqueness! Encouraging Jack to find his path is the only way!!!
its very difficult trying to be normal with AS. Looking back I have said so many awful things. I know what this Lad is saying.I am 58 and worked for a bank that brought computers in. I was upset by the manager when they asked for a password in a sealed envelopeI I put UPU2. yea gods .
I have always felt alone, have no friends , and now my husband is being peculiar. Only realised I had AS a week ago. Can't say anymore is absolutelly awful to realise it's not them it's me
He wants to work with children. He better not treat them the way he treats his mother. At least he acted better in this one than he did in the first. Being weird is good.
In his other vid he makes the statement that he wants to smash his mum's jaw, then in this vid he claims that it's because he gets no respect, thats why he dosen't know how to act round respectable people =/
You are a complete selfish asswipe little one. I have Asperger Syndrome and I don't go around making hidious comments like that. It's people like you that go around making sure AS is seen as a terrible illness and that people with it are freaks. Cheers.
Also I recognize the mood changes in the clips from when he is 4. Oh my god - it's crazy. And the rest of the family are just so calm about it - and Jack is close to "exploding". My AS-son has a younger brother, and I now being a sibling is really hard. Because these guys are very special people in a good sense - and we love them, but very diffucult to live with. Tanks a lot for making and posting the videos!!!
I am a single mother and have a son with AS who is 12. In school and with other people he behaves well, but around with me he can be very rude when he is stressed. It is not something you can handle with discipline. Also it is very difficult to explain to others how bad it is, and why it is so difficult to handle. I think these videos can help me communicate our problems to family, friends and councelors. Thank for making and posting these videos.
I agree. I have Aspergers. I still struggle greatly, but I have been told I can be rather offensive and rude. I never intend to be. I get so frustrated at times. I am trying to work with it.
Jack you are not special....you are a prick...having this disorder DOES not give you a free ticket to disrespect everyone around you. You need your ass beat. You poor mother needs to ship you to a third world country you selfish prick.
.... again, fantastic stuff! Nice to see something on YouTube that isn't either a comedy piece or a rip off of a TV show. Thanks for creating something original :)
I thought this was a documentary. Try and sell it to TV, seriously. Who is to say that he has Asperger's? It could be a combination of ADHD, Schizophrenia etc. We're all slightly mad to a degree.
I can only imagine that the disorder affects different people in profoundly different ways, I suppose based upon their personality.
I know someone who is partially Autistic, and although some may consider his manner to be a little unusual, he is very polite, and I've never seen him lose his temper like that.
As somebody with Asperger's Syndrome, I do not want to be tarred with the same brush as a lot of the people who are shown as representatives of the condition. I have a tendency to become frustrated because I cannot communicate properly, but I have enough self-discipline to try and control my temper. Sometimes, I have meltdowns or outbursts, but they are not common, and I am not consistently rude or hostile.
@kungfucolin.You hit the nail on the head my friend. I suffer from Asperger's Syndrome, and I would like to think that others don't judge me because of my condtion. I think that poeple like me need help and lots of it. Thanks for your support.

@Kjamgo I have aspergers and i don't like this guy, i know its his parents fault and the community where he lives.
First mistake to start treating him different and give him freedom to act as he please.
To late to change anything about him now, this is a one man ride down <<<<<<<
