  • I wonder what "WTF America" videos Japan posts.

  • Fate

  • How the hell did I even get here?

  • 2:00 Jumanjiiiiiiii!!

  • good job on tanslation. few things were little off but the point of the song is prensented accurately. many made fun of this song until few saw this translation, i find that funny... westerner's ignorance has no limits lol

  • @tkoizumi Westerners' ignorance has no limits, true, but the same can be said of people all over the world. If one views them only as groups instead of individuals, people from Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, North and South America can all be said to be ignorant in some way.

Also, I highly doubt Westerners were the only ones making fun of this song until they saw the translation. Not everyone in the East understands Japanese, and on top of that, the video for this song is funny.

  • @tkoizumi tbh you are being ignorant by claiming westerners are ignorant x

  • @tkoizumi If you check, the people who created this song are a comedy group. They MADE it to be funny. It's a parody song.

So yeah, you're the ignorant one for not knowing the history of the song.

  • are you watching this during 2011

  • The lyrics are actually... amazingly deep if you think about it..

Don't worry about the past or the bad things in life... all that matters is that we are here, and we're alive - and we are lucky for that.

    Yatta!!!

  • lol japanese classic. just love japanese guys A_A

  • This is amazing. It takes shots at the boys-band phenomenon AND all kinds of society problems over there. ^_^

  • I admire the little old lady posing at 2:48

  • @LightningEssence This song makes me sadder as the years go by....

  • @anythingnew Oh really? I find watching others act stupid cheers me up a great deal. I wonder though...i guess it could also make you sad....

  • @LightningEssence No, it's cause I saw this back in 2005-2006 and it brought back happy memories which also makes me sad.... Cause we all know happy memories make us sad.

  • @anythingnew Sometimes they do, ja ja. Well, sorry bout those happy memories ruining your yatta-ness :/

  • I love this song! The only problem I noticed with the subs is the very last line where the subs say Bye-Q....... They say "Thank you." Thankyuu!!!!! Not Bye-Q. Other than that, it seemed fine! ^_^

  • The only thing that is more manly than this... Is Unicorns and Chuck Norris.

  • @112narutard Unicorns, maybe. But Chuck Norris is an overrated douche.

  • @112narutard Indeed.

  • I really really hope these are the real lyrics.

  • heehhehe muito engraçado >///<

  • I love this song to this day. Wow. Man this song is an oldie but goodie.

  • This is the music that a Japanese entertainer made 10 years ago.

  • japan - the only place you can buy a wireless internet video of four men dancing in their pants from a walking talking robotic vending machine in the shape of a yellow smiling cat / humanoid thing - for your portable usb powered electronic hentai girlfriend.

the samurai would be so proud

  • At 1:55, you see a baby in the crowd. Only in Japan is it perfectly acceptable to bring an infant to a concert where the artists wear leaves over their junk. So much fucking win.

  • Drew Carey's inspiration... 1:32

  • i know what i'm being next halloween!

  • what......the f.........?

  • Kimochi~

  • Japan's obsession with mixing English into their songs is a mystery to me. The value of words is null is you don't know what they mean.

  • Comment removed

  • @Dakurus - Well... most Japanese actually study English in high school.

  • why was this flagged? theres a freakin child in the audience!

  • They don't say "Bye-Q". They say "Thank you". Ugh.

  • The most outstanding arousal factor I've ever Experienced.

  • AMAZING

  • @mundotaku

    Haha, good point. ;-)

  • I ... well...wow ... I am almost speechless.......

    that was amazingly awesome...

  • this song gives a new meaning to manliness

  • This song is SO ridiculous, but it never fails to cheer me up. :)

  • You would think this had been produced by Phil Specter. a very good use of the "wall of sound". I love this song! it makes me YATTA!

  • OHIOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

  • REAL JAPANESE MEN!

  • still waiting for the time when I'm listening to this song with bad mood and still being pissed afterwards... guess I'll never not smile bright after listening. Neat song!

  • habla sobre la marihuana!!! xD ajajajjajaajjaja

  • You can NOT be anything other than blissfully happy after listening to this song.

  • If there's something that this song has taught me is that you can get through the worst life throws at you with some weed, kind of like Resident Evil.

  • @0xZystx0 dude I never made that connection, nice!

  • OMFG!!! Lmao

  • If you can watch this and not feel better after then you have no hope and should just die now. that is all.

  • 1:17 Nippon kyuukyuu HAHAHAHHAHAHAHa

  • Apparently nobody understands this is satire. It's a group of comedians making fun of Japanese boy bands in a television sketch.

  • The N guy looks like one of my former classmates XD

  • 1:08

    REPRESENTS JAPAN!

    not suprised

  • @huli00000

Actually there is only one retard here... YOU. Anyone see can that this is a satire, so it's not to be taken seriously in any capacity, why are you so stupid? If you just don't get it and it's not your thing, thats fine, but don't display your ignorance out for everyone to see, we WILL laugh at you.

  • @vidman102 k thanx i wasnt beeing mean i was being totally srs i didnt know it was to motivate Japan i googled that fact, thats pretty cool and i know a few of my japanese co-workers say Yatta all the time lul keep in mind i grew up in San Francisco City so my wquestion was legit.

  • Yatta doesn't mean "I did it !", not "all right" >.>

  • its very clear these guys love what they are doing. they all look so happy, and it makes me happy. i cant get mad while listening to this.

  • Thank you for providing the subtitles...there's absolutely nothing wrong with a positive message, especially when there's singing and dancing involved! I like it!

  • Huh. It's not just funny, it's got a good moral to it too. Don't let small things get you down; just be happy to be alive! Do a little jig, sing a little song, get a little sleep, and everything will be just fine! Yatta! <3

  • catchy song...YATTA

  • don't care what some of you guys say..... this song is wonderful and this song sure is inspirational!!

    YATTA!

  • The Japanese sure know how to make an inspirational song.

  • Finally I understood the words

MY EYES! THE GOOGLES DO NOTHING!

How should I say it... Too manly

  • Chairman Kaga's first gig. j/k

  • This is fucking funny.

  • This just furthers my belief that the Japanese make some of the weirdshit shit in the World...>.>

  • This is actually a parody that they made, so of course it's gonna be weird!

  • idiots, this song is before everybody even knew what "recession" is

  • @andymandi

sorry to inform you that you have, indeed, failed.

America goes into recession, and thinks that everyone goes into recession...

no, only the stupid and credit crazy are affected by a ressesion...none the less, on to my point:

japan has basically been in a and out of ressesions since the '80's.

  • oh, and N America has had a recession every 20 years or so. It is a by product of a consumer-based capitalist market...the recessions and depressions are the consumer markets way of performing checks and balances. it essential for efficent operation, and the recessions are every 20 years, and depressions are about every 120 years.

japan has a different style of market, it is extremely hard to post major profit in their market.

  • Wish I could give this 6 stars

Instant morale booster... even though I don't speak a word of Japanese...

  • at one point it sounds like they shout out ooooooohhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiioooooooooo(ohio)

  • They do, it's Japanese for good morning I believe.

  • And it's Ohayo. ^^

  • @yotoeben The phrase "Ohayou" in Japanese means "Good morning," it's pronounced pretty much the same as "Ohio." :)

  • Well i did this at a wedding O.o did they laugh and clap and they even took off their cloths guys do it if u wanna see something good ^^ (i dont mean the seeing the guys btw)

  • The lyrics are so inspiring! I love it!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm talking about the lyrics of giving an optimistic outlook on life when the chips are down, or taking criticism with a grain of salt. Basically I'm admiring the overall theme to not get depressed about life's challenges.

  • They're more inspirational than that, "We're lucky just because we're alive"... and despite their recession and that, they're still all upbeat and happy. I love this song, listen to it whenever I feel down.

  • "Japan's got crisises, but tommorow's wonderful...

Even if somebody's mean to us, we just go to bed and snore! snore! snore! snore!

We got 9 hours of sleep, woke up and jumped out of bed...

What kind of great things might await us now?

We're lucky just because we're alive!"

How is that not pure, distilled inspiration?

  • thast was awesome!!

  • i was so sure manowar had the worst texts ever! this song beats it so bad!

  • When this song and video isn't kicking ass, it's only kicking MORE ass!

  • God DAMN I feel great after watching this!

  • It's because they're so healthy it makes you sick!

It's just such a happy song. It's so upbeat, it makes you feel good.

  • The first time I heard this song, I was like "what?" Then I watched it with subtitles and now I love it. It's very inspiring.

  • This is happening at my wedding.

  • If you can play this at your wedding: flawless victory.

  • hahahah noooo xD

  • No. for one, it's not a film. for another, they're not saying "share everything, all is one" etc, they're saying "don't worry, be glad just to be alive".

  • they're mocking japans economic problems. also Japan isn't a communist nation. besides communism isn't bad dipshit, us human beings are just too fucking stupid for it.

  • it isn't a communist film idiot
