عجیبه که یک نفر مثل من که از اون مملکت در سن خیلی‌ جوانی و دوران روز‌های بفهمی نفهمی بهترش از اون مملکت با جیب خالی‌ فرار کردم و کسی‌ را در آنجا ندارم و چه بسا که چه از هموطن کشیدم، چرا باید اون وطن هنوز برای من اینقدر عزیز باشه که هست.

It is a beautiful poem but i really didn't think that the music expressed the meaning of the poetry.This poem is the sad account of a man who was forced to live out side of his homeland and the music doesn't capture that.Although Homayoun Shajarian has done a good job of singing it but I thing neither the composer nor the singer has truly understood the meaning of the poetry.Kasraei is tortured by his absence in his country and this is not apparent in the music.
