The problem with Miss Venezuela was that she never thought she would get that far being that Miss Venezuela Alicia Machado was the current Miss Universe, so she was a bit too shy and perhaps lame, but she was beautiful indeed. I do not think Brook was ugly, but certainly not the most beautiful. She joined the MU winners that while not being the most beautiful they won the judges over with their personality & poise, such as Chile 87, Namibia 92, Botswana 99, Japan 2007, Venezuela 2008 & 2009.

Venez isn't plastic-coated, and seems at least a little natural. And pretty too. She is no 5, Puerto Rico is even better, shei is number 4 of them all. Elegant! India is boring this year, Estonia looks like a pro, Sweden dull, Panama nothing, Curacao matronly, Trinidad no 3, charming, beautiful. The giants: Italy is the most beautiful European girl I ever saw. Stylish, elegant, bad english though, but I forgive her! US almost as pretty. A worthy miss Universe.
