On the Best of Ernie Kovacs VHS tapes is a frequently performed song with lyrics that sound like, "...Mickey Messa, Pregnant honcho..." Does anyone have an idea as to whom the singer is, or the song’s title?
@neatoauctions It is the Kurt Weill/Bertolt Brecht song "Mack the Knife" (or "Die Moritat von Mackie Messer") sung by the late German comedian and actor Wolfgang Neuss.
Ernie did a similar "blackout" in one of his last specials in 1961, where he got Jolene Brand to impersonate Loretta Young opening HER show- as soon as she says, "John...?" (meaning Loretta's announcer, who did the opening commercial), SHE got a pie in the face!
She is not Barbara Loden!!!!!

Can anyone agree with any certainty that this young lady is the late actress/director Barbara Loden?
