If you look at the context of the time, the Fantastic Four really blew everything about superheroes out of the water. They seem pretty stable now compared to whackjobs like Deadpool or fuck-ups like the X Men, but the idea of such a blatantly dysfunctional family where everyone has issues up the ass and there is no hero or voice of reason that the reader is supposed to always agree with is really something without any comic book precedent at all. The passage of time is a funny thing huh?

I have Nothing against gays, but that... is just crazy. I mean Robin is a boy, like a son to batman. And batman is a man, like a father to Robin. And who cares if it was like "two hmosexuals living together". Though this was years ago so I could understand the 'big deal' but still... Damn that Dr.Wertham. He was crazy and took things out of poportion.
