  • There are some inaccurate statements in this video.

For example, AX Idol does not offer a trip to Japan to become a Japanese voice actor. It offers an audition here with American companies. That is why it's judged by American voice actors.

Also, New York Anime Fest has no connection with Anime Expo. NYAF is run by a professional events company, Reed Exhibitions. Anime Expo is run by the SPJA, a non-profit organization made up primarily of volunteers who are fans.

  • you talked about karaoke politics. There is SO much involved. Dont apply for ax idol though.... they really only let the same people every year in the competition.

  • i went to sakuracon in the nw and it was really awesome. I didn't see any guests tho, lol. just had fun with other people there doing random games. i really want to be able to go to a lolita con some time tho...

  • hey wanna hold a dojin' convention and show'em how its done?

    -yuki

  • It's true. Many there at the convention are not really enthusiastic about the work they do. From what I saw, the American voice actors are just in it for the money and they hardly know anything about the source material. But I know that there are a few that are good fans of anime.
