that siren at the biggenening is a chrysler "big red" air raid siren which is the biggest siren from world war two! just awsome to hear on on a ship.

Very interesting hearing a Chrysler siren along with fireworks. It gives you an idea of how loud these were. I've heard fireworks completely overwhelm towboat air horns.

I was scared watching this video!! FIRE and BOATS ... yikes! I'm sure it was diesel... I HOPE it was diesel... but WOW. SO cool!! And did I mention... Scary!?!?
