  • DARNIT, NUT ALLERGY!

  • awseome dude! you just saved me alot of money xD

  • am i deaf on my right ear?

  • i loved crushed penus

  • Hey would you say 30g of protein powder is 1/3 cup

  • Thank you for sharing this. Tastes great.

  • I wonder if he knows that his goatee is off center.

  • @hide21998

    its an optical illusion :)

  • lmaoo it sounds like he's saying crushed penis in the beginning but great product!

  • Ok, you guys ready for this? I did an estimation of Protein, sugars, calories and cost on these bars and here's my calculations:

Protein = approx. 18.6 grams per bar

Sugars = approx. 5 grams per bar, depending on how much honey you use (I used 2 T. because I am diabetic)

Calories = 213 - 221, depending on which nuts you top the bars with (almonds are slightly higher)

    And (drum roll, please).....

Approximately $.56/bar (peanut) and $.62/bar (almond)!!! Not bad, huh? :)

  • Looks absolutely yummy! And the protein bar looks good too. Ha ha. Do you make house calls? :)

  • I will do it now. Now when i am in susta trebo stroba diana.

  • Is it sticky?

  • do you know how to make a food bar that tastes similar to the Organic Food Bar? They have given the ingredients, yet I don't know how to make them.

  • can i use regular butter?

  • Has any one used ultra fine oats in these sort of mixtures? What were the results?

  • 1:50 crushed whole penis? .. ouch

  • Do you have any idea how many calories are in the mixture? I"m tryna dcide if these are worthwhile

  • any ideas for replacing the peanuts? as im allergic :(

  • @BristolCarsUK almonds and peanuts are usually interchangeable

  • So much fat in these things...and not even the good kind.

  • @Maggynus you could do a heck of a lot worse in the fat department...

  • @RockAtAllCosts You could do a lot a lot better though... just replace all the peanut products with almond products, there donzo. Not that much protein either, I would actually think these things have way more fat than protein.

  • Alright I have to say these are by far the best protein bars I've ever had. Nice work

  • Nice recipe man I'm making them right now. Looking forward to see how they'll turn out

  • There is around 400/500 kcal in one bar. Haha, I hope you didn´t eat this all in once.

  • Thanks the bars are still hardening in the fridge but it tastes sooo good. I didn't have chocolate protein powder so I just used the vanilla flavored and put 3tbsp of carob powder. Also added 1tbsp of ground flax to get some fiber in there too!

  • how much protein for each of those bars you made?

  • @turtonmatt1 the answer is in the video if you can do simple math...

  • I made these bars and they sat in the fridge all night.. and still are soft.. any ideas?

  • i think Frankenstein was recording

  • Great one man. Subscribed. Btw. you had to have good weed ;)

  • Can i replace protein powder with baby milk powder?

  • @aiwazyan never tried...

  • @themusclecook Yo, the audio is hard panned to the right, i.e. sound only comes out of the right speaker. Idk if it's a format conversion issue or an initial rendering issue. Anyway, just letting you know, cool vid.

  • @sham8723 Oh snap, nevermind 2:50 lol. Ok now new question: how long do they last and do you keep them refrigerated. I made some different ones and they eventually got really tough (5 days) had to throw them out.

  • I used to make this bars all the time, good to find the recipe again.

Dunno how much Protein u need in your bars but i take about 30gramm every 3 houres so i will make my bars a little bit smaler. keep cooking ;)

  • thanks for this recipe, works great

  • how long do these bars keep fresh? can i freeze them and use later? looking super forward to trying these!

  • just made them :) there waiting for me in the fridge, cant wait to try one! i found that if you add a little bit of boiling water from the kettle to thin out the peanut butter cause i prefer to use naturally crunchy, it helps with mixing the peanut butter through a lot!! its great :) this recipe is really great and the great thing is that you can add other ingredients in as well for extra flavour! thanks :)

  • I'm from New Zealand and I am going to college next year and I am going to get your book to help me with bulking up. You the man Dave

  • Made a vegan version of these bars using soy milk, maple syrop (to replace honey), and soy protein powder. Absolutely delicious!!! I can see why this guy doesn't make them for himself anymore - very addicting!!!

  • I couldn't find natural peanut butter anywhere, so I just used the super crunchy (easier than breaking peanuts up) supermarket stuff, but microwaved it for 30seconds to make it runny. It also seemed to make them more firm once cooled too as the peanut butter is thicker.

  • Thank you so much! ... I'll never buy a protein bar again! i'll make it myself.

  • could you put em in the oven? and if so for how long?

  • @Sibiuz4Life Never tried...

  • @Sibiuz4Life i put them in the oven at 150 degrees centergrate for about 10 mins. I then put them in the fridge and they worked out really well.

  • @bigbird10101 Thanks man Ill try this out soon

  • @Sibiuz4Life Do NOT Bake them. I wasted about 1/2 a tub of protein powder on failed protein bars. By BAKING them. and adding eggs.

  • @6kqueen6 and they came out SO SO SO SO DRY!

  • @6kqueen6 well not what I had in mind but thanks for going through the trouble for me and letting me know...his muscle cook book is filled with so many good anabolicious recepies. Id get a copy if I were you =)

  • @Sibiuz4Life and the came out SOO DRY!!

  • How many calories per serve dude?

  • what is unnatural honey?

  • strong laugh at the end

  • Comment removed

  • this recipe is amazing, IMO. my only problem is that it melts WAY to quickly. I had to freeze them over night instead of 30 minutes like you. Is there a way to give them a longer life outside?

  • how long can you store them for?

and also what if you take them out, will they melt?

  • Atkins advantage taste delicious. I will be disappointed if this doesn't top that.

  • What do you think about replacing some of the whey protein with casein for more solid bars?

  • What if you put that in the oven?

  • @Ig1veUP If you're using whey protein you can't cook it, if you put that in the oven it'll destroy it's nutrional value so you won't have protein bars anymore lol

  • What would be a good substitute for the honey? (preferably something sugar-free as I have fructose malabsorption)

  • sick video and good recipe....but come on thats one of the girliest giggles ive ever heard right at the end :P

  • awesome dude, sweet protein bars:)

  • grease the pan first! use coconut oil. other things that would jazz these up, spirulina, almond butter, ground almonds, cinnamon, etc. substitue honey with 1/4c soaked and mashed dates.

  • (muscle worship my fetish)

  • I bought a 10lb bag of flavorless whey protein. Is there a way to modify this to use flavorless and add some chocolate flavor without making them fattening?

  • Heard of this recipe of yours through Lee's youtube page and man are these awesome!!! I can even use water instead of milk and they still turn out awesome, thank you so much I'm gonna save a ton of money eating these rather than store bought crap :)

  • Wow this is unbelievable!

    Its sooooooooo goood thanks man!!

  • Nice recipe tried it, but its been in the fridge about 2 hours and is still soft. Any advice?

  • @G00n3r4Life Put them in the freezer for 30 minutes, that should solve your problem

  • @themusclecook thanks buddy.

  • excellent thnx m8

  • "8 scops of protein powder" .....how many grams per scop?

  • @Alesandros356 An average scoop is 30g total...

  • how much protein and carbs are in this bar? :)

  • Press 3 for a symbol sound and press 8 for a beep sound. Mix together for beatbox. lol

  • and what flavor get good on the bars ??

  • what kind of protein do you prefer to do your recipes ??? what brand?

  • @shckar he said chokolate.....so chokolate it is

  • Great recipe. Did the math and this actually has more protein per calorie than most store bought bars while also tasting better.

  • that's a Goldberg tattoo.. WIN

  • I made this today, it's incredibly delicious AND nutricious. Also, the nice thing is, whenever you're craving for something sweet, instead of having a cheat meal with chocolate, chips, cookies whatever, you can just eat one of these bars, because they taste better than any chocolate bars out there. Thanks Dave, for this brilliant recipe!

  • lol, hes all like"Ima keep this."

Man they look like the ones i but at the store.lol

    Just as big. :D

  • I just made them soooooo good ..thanks!

  • They taste sooo good !

  • what's the nutritional content for these bars?

  • just made these and they taste sooo fucking goood

  • If you guys want a bar similar to this, come to my channel where i show u how to make a chocolate peanut butter protein bar with 300 calories and 30 grams of protein. thanks

  • I just saw this vid a few days ago and tried this recipe....shiz is the bomb. I have an unused tub of choc/pb pp that i cannot stand. i used this along with almond butter/crushed almonds and almondmilk. turned out great now i can finish up that pp! i spread the mixture on parchment paper in the pan to facilitate cutting. i was also able to turn it over easier so the other side can "set" . wrapped bars in waxed paper and store in fridge, grab in the morning yeeeeeah buddayyyy

  • can you make protein bars for skinny girls or buy them?

  • @ChloeBabey77 Protein is for building muscle mass , and muscle repair. I wouldnt think protein will help skinny girls gain weight, protein actually fills you up for longer and tells ur brain your not hungry, so ive heard. Carbohydrates is the key to weight gain.

  • great

  • My Flatmates went crazy over them :D I love them too, first try massive success :) Thank you Dave, keep up the good work :)

  • @shengar4eto That's what I like to hear :) Thanks for the feedback and glad you like them! :)

  • could you use almound milk instead?

  • @Ykhavari Yes, no problem there :)

  • Benny, I keep mine in the freezer.

  • how long do they keep for?

  • awesome recipe, I substituted Almond milk for low fat milk and used almond slices instead of peanuts. I started to eat the batter, YUM YUM. I decided to go one step further and I melted unsweetened carob chips, which I spread over the top.

  • Dude! Looking forward to these recipes. I'm purchasing the book tomorrow!

  • @randeDANDE Thanks for the support man!

  • @themusclecook No problem. Just bought it now! and registered as privileged customer mailing list

  • too bad the peanut butter here in Holland is totally different. Any Dutchmen around who faced the same problem?

  • can anyone tell me the macro nutrient value (grams of protein, carb and fat) and calories of this protein bar

  • @chawinc (Per Serving - 1 Bar)

    Calories: 452

    Protein: 50g

    Carbohydrates: 36g

    Fat: 12g

  • I made these and let me say how much of a pain in the ass it is to form them. But they are literally the best tasting protein bars you can have/make.

  • It seems like a good workout doing that :P

  • That bald guy got WWE's Goldberg tattoo :)

  • I want to say thank you bro, out of all the recipes that are in you tube these is the most easy one and they are so good, I just made some and I am waiting for them, I also like to wrap them in wax paper and I put them in the freezer and they taste like ice cream bars :)

  • i wish he was cooking that with no top on he is hot

  • Can I just say how I love the way you say peanut butter ;-) I'm going to try this for my husband. This is cheaper and a lot healthier than what you would find in the store. Could you use Blue Agave nectar in place of the honey?

  • @lwildrick ahah thanks :) Yep Agave nectar could work

  • Foreigners accent suddenly emerges at 0:39

  • Can I use the protein powder that you need for making shakes?

  • not trying to criticize....but the food source you used, actually showed that you dun know much about real health and nutrition ....

  • @kb826062871 WTF "Not trying to criticize..." then what the fuck are you doing. FAGGOT this guy knows what he is doing so shut up and stop posting retarded comments

  • @luisespinax microwave, so called"Natural" , Milk....those are dangerous food. stop being a "protector" and I am sure Dave's shoes are already shiny, there's no need to be brushed by someone like u...lol

  • thaaanks Hunn!! made them, theyre yummii!!

    Xxoo from Switzerland!

  • can i eat this for breakfast, i realy dont like oats in milk or water and i have been looking for a good healthy breakfast that contains oats, so can i eat this for breakfast or should i only eat this as a substitute, at times??

  • i'll bet they look the same coming out as they do going in.

  • how many calories?

  • I want to hear him say "get to da choppa"

  • why don't you put them in to an oven for 10 - 15 minutes? They'll become nice and firm like a real bar / flapjack...

  • So, basically they're No-Bake Cookies but with protein added. Not a bad idea

  • Can I use oat flour instead of whole oats?

Also I can't do milk, is coconut milk ok?

  • Can I use oat flour instead of whole oats?

  • Can I use oat flour?

  • good vids, but a lil advice when your telling people the ingredients and how much, you should pause the video and make a list of ingredients and how much. it would be more helpful. but these look good and im checking out your cajun sweet potatos next

  • nice recipe and the most incredible thing about these bars is the nutritional facts(it almost justifies any defect it would have): Nutritional Facts

    (Per Serving - 1 Bar)

    Calories: 452

    Protein: 50g

    Carbohydrates: 36g

Fat: 12g (healthy fats which means it wont go to ur belly)

  • You guys are on Roids, especially ya buddy :)

  • just wanted to say thx for this recipe. I made them tonight and they are awesome. Can't wait to try to make the muffins :)

  • Where is your accent from?

  • this one is impractical to carry outside your fridge. This thing melts faster than an ice cube inside a woman's [bleep]. I pulled it out the freezer, and while cutting it, turned into a liquid. Nothing like in the damn video. sigh

  • This recipe looks great - i've seen calorie/fat/protein balance, and it says 12g of fat - i assume thats not all Sat Fat ?

  • thanks for the recipe man! will give er a try

  • Great Recipe! I will be making it for our road trip this weekend. I plan to add a little cocoa powder and vanilla extract to mine. Quick And Easy Tip: instead of putting in a baking dish to set, spoon mixture on to a sheet of plastic wrap and roll into a log (or any shape). Put in fridge until completely firm. Then cut into slices. You get perfect shaped pieces, no mess, easy clean up and portion control. :-)

  • Can it also be substituted with almond butter or would that not work?

  • @davidjoe22 Yes, that would work :)

  • @davidjoe22 sunflower seed butter is also extremely tasty

  • lol! my friend's teacher is in this.

  • Great recipe. How many calories & proteins pr 100g?

  • HIGH CARB!!!!

  • they're a bit nutty

  • um no offense dude, but did you or anyone else notice that in the video, the bars look like huge crap logs? haha sorry couldn't help myself!

  • @dude968182003 hahahahahahaha

  • kraft penutbutter is not natural lol

  • @killarmy101 Yes, this is 100% peanuts.

  • @killarmy101 I would like to make this statement just few seconds ago.lol

  • @killarmy101 Uh, yes it is. They make an all natural peanut butter, and its the one with the brown top, just like what he is using.

    lol, you fail

do some research before you go trying to point out other's flaws.

  • Just made these with cafe mocha flavour protein and they are killer!!!!

  • Just made these with Dymatize Elite cafe mocha flavour and they are killer!!!!

  • You sound so french!! haha props for using Quebon milk.

  • im goin to try this recipe with cookies and creme whey, mmmm :)

  • hundreds of thousands of calories - epic meal time

  • just made them and did the math.. if one cuts the bars into fifths like the video, its roughly 450 cal per bar. my protein powder is 280 cal per 2 scoops. I cut mine into 10ths and 225 per bar, all natural, cant beat it :)

  • how long do these last for?

  • how many calories

  • how many calories

  • thanks.

  • thanks, i will eat this instead of candy, donuts and cinnamon rolls. Can you make a recipe for healthy cinnamon roll substitute. I have a big weakness for them.

  • i just made this i think its gonan taste like shit tho cuz i am using the 90+ protien and in total theres 180 grams in the hole mixture oh well will try tasting them in a hour or so

  • Where can I get inexpensive protein powder?

  • bold people always steal stuff

  • tried with myprotein vanilla whey = success. alot taster than the branded protein bars

  • Not that nice with bananna whey.....

  • Hi great video and you are a sexy azz! do i see a tongue piercing? not trying to look in your mouth, its sexy seeing a man with one, sorry this has nothing to do with protein bars lol, take care! oh I will try the bars, because i get tired of buying them

  • love this guys accent

  • damn...that looooooooks goooooooooooooooooooood!!!

  • If you use water instead of milk, then protein bars can be preserved in the fridge for a really long time.
