  • im a canadian, and for those of you actually considering to immigrate there, i would suggest that you move somewhere like Toronto, Ontario, or Vancouver, BC, or Edmonton Alberta.. these are all places that are booming with job oppertunities, and with the right skills, youre guarunteed to find something. =)

  • free health care!

  • lol mum rhymes with bum. You're reasons for wanting to immigrate are very interesting, but still.. come on over!

  • God bless Peirre Trudeau! Every immigrant has affection towards Peirre Trudeau and Jean Chretien.

  • I am Canadian and I love Canada and Canadians but I think we need to adopt some of the European immigration policies. We are way too lenient and we let immigrants get away with almost anything. I think we should bring back Clifford Sifton's policy of selective immigration.

  • why immigrate to canada? becuase we have better health care, cleaner cities and more job opportunities.

  • This must be why only 80% of immigrants wind up owning their own home.

  • If you want to come to Canada and live here just make sure you thank Pierre Trudeau because without him Canada would be a shit hole. Go to streets of Canada and tell ordinary Canadians what they think of Trudeau and they will tell you he was a revolutionary man! He opened Canada's immigration system to all people. Before only people of European descent primarily from the UK could come into Canada. Thanks to him minorities are protected in the Consitution.

  • Hi, I have a question... With all that stuff of the economical crisis, is the Immigration policy towars new immigrats as open as usual?

    Thanks for answer...

  • Canada has a points system in place when screening immigrants. Things like knowing english, relatives or people who will cover you, liquid assets, skills, are all taken into account. Anyone can apply but there are a maximum number of immegrants allowed per annum. I hope that helped. I'd love to meet all of you!

  • Canada is the second largest country in the world ... Russia is the first.

  • Hmmmmmm. Im a 22 year old with a bachelors degree in entrepreneurship from the Philippines. What are the opportunities open for young a young individual such as I ?

  • wonderful country, very safe and fair country

  • why do i have to do to live in canada,is one of my favourite countries!!! CANADA 4EVER!!!

  • wtf canada still treat natives like shit.... im a native

  • This is true. We are notorious for it too. The U.N. gave us hell for it. But Canada is not Sierra Leone. I love Canada.

  • Despite popular belief Canada is not much colder than the states. Yopu dont magically cross the border and its suddenly 40 below. Canada is ten times better than the states for pretty much anything.

  • why immigrate to Canada?? Because they got the hottest chicks on earth...it's so simple lol.

  • i don't think so, i see european chicks are hotter :D

  • I would move to canada in heart beat.I love the cold and the hockey, this not being hateful of this country. If their was a job already in place great benefits , good pay and401k then boom I am going.

  • immigrate to canada cause if the US turns you down it's the next best thing! ............um I'm sorry...........

  • Only an ignorant American would say something so obviously incorrect.

  • I live in America, but if I had to go somewhere else, it would definitely be...someplace warm.

  • USA > Canada

  • ya people in us are more fat then is canada lol

  • I like both of them personally.

  • Canada consistently beats the US in the U.N. best countries in the world in which to live list. Canada was number one for 7 years in a row. in 2007, Canada was number 4 and the US is number 12. So no, the U.S. is not even the next best thing. Other countries that consistently beat the U.S. are Japan, Iceland and Norway. We have a higher standard of living, better education and are a champion of human rights. The U.S. clings to bizarre old worldy type laws.

  • As a United States citizen, I can attest to the validity of that statement. I am Gay and am an Atheist, and living in America can be very unfriendly. We even had laws against sodomy in some states as recent as the 80's. We have a very high incarceration rate, health coverage costs non-workers around 600$/mo, our government is married to the church in many respects, people are more closed-minded and do not believe in Evolution (only around 38% believe in America). America is a backwards nation.

  • How is it to live in Canada as an immigrant (Alberta)??? I´m living in Germany and i havn´t any future here. Everyone says go to Canada!

    Thanks for your answers.

  • I am a Greek-Canadian and I was born in Toronto.I also have been hired by Bell Mobility and i'm making almost 100,000 a year.Canada has given me exactly what I need.I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love canada too, from mexico, canada is the best country in the world.

  • Canada is a very great country, and for your information, immigrants who are educated and have money are going to eventually take over. You can already see it in the big cities.

    So dont hate!

  • I'm Puerto Rican, and want to immigrate to Canada. I need something different. I need to make a Puerto Rican community in Toronto.

  • because the walfare

  • if only it was that easy to move there.

you need to be a skilled worker to get a visa.

  • Canada is awesome!!!!! Speaking from personal experience ALberta is the best place in Canada. Simply because many immagrants for get about ALberta and nobody come here so yea. I LOVE CANADA!!!

  • You have to be kidding me. "many immigrants forget about Alberta and nobody comes here"...I am from the U.S. (Minnesota to be exact) but I thought Calgary was one of Canada's fastest growing cities? As far as tourism goes Alberta's side of the Canadian Rocky Mountains "Banff and Jasper provincial parks draw more then a million, correct me if I am wrong, a million tourists over the year.

  • pfft, yeah whoever said that is wrong. Calgary is about 26% foreign apparently. Many immigrants come to Toronto and Vancouver then move to Alberta for good jobs.

  • u r soo right i came to canada 7 years ago when i just was 15 now im canadian and im one year away from graduated from nursing school

canada helped me in way that my own country didnt

  • By any chance did you live in the UK before Canada? lol

  • I love livin in Canada Im a French Canadien and well Canada just fucking owns

  • im a canadian of arab origon and with all of my heart i can say that canada is my beloved land.

the land of humanity which accepts all ppl from all races and religions. the land of libralism and equal rights.

    i love u canada ...

  • i really want to go there, if for no other reason than nobody hates Canada. nobody wants to blow them up, nobody considers it their holy duty to eradicate them, and it's too damn cold to want to invade ;P. honestly, i'm sick of living in a superpower, and particularly in the world's self proclaimed police force. this place is getting ridiculous.

  • C'mon up eh! It is pretty sweet here.

  • It's not always cold here. People die from heat exhaustion in the summer. Come to southern Ontario.

  • Studies in Canada since the mid-1980s have pointed out that immigration has little impact on the economic welfare of the receiving country and similar studies in the United States and Britain have reached the same conclusion. Comprehensive studies by George Borjas, the world's most renowned immigration economist at Harvard have shown that immigration's only significant impact is to reduce the wages of native workers.

  • i dont see that. immigrants pay taxes, and support the economy through starting up businesses. Some cities (i.e.Miami) have been revived due to immigrants.

  • i want immgration to canada.........

  • canada pwns

  • My family are from Kingston Ontario and Perth Ontario..I got stuck here in the states for a good reason, but I still make it home when I can, and still Call Wawa my second home, I miss every day, and its an honer to be Canadian.

  • I love canda man.. i wich i could live there.

  • marry a Canadian.

I have a BF that lives in the states :)

  • My mother ,brother , cousins ,uncles and aunties, relatives lives here. Thank you again for your help its so lovely and nice to live to here we love Canada and I am hoping and praying for my permanent resident status approval please help me too.

  • So what is the rationale for more immigration? The fact is there is no valid rationale. There is only one reason why our political parties push for high immigration intake and that is they see every new immigrant as a potential vote for their party. This is not only irresponsible; it borders on culpable negligence.

  • One good reason is that our population is only increasing because of immigration. Our people just aren't procreating like they used to.

  • I love living here if any one does wonder about tempture its not that bad here but if you live in the atlantic areas (newbrunswick, Novascotia, PEI, Newfoundland) You might wanna get used to snow because the winters are a little heavy.

  • Hi! Can you please give me advice on how to migrate to Canada immediately? I am an Education graduate (English Major) in the University of the Philippines but my experiences are in TV acting. I am single. I have an Uncle in Winnipeg. Can an Uncle sponsor me? I believe Canada is looking for teachers, can you help me on this? Thank you!

  • I think you're one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen. I feel safe when I'm with you. I think I love you. What are the odds of an American like me and a country like you getting together?

  • haha

  • blame canada blame canada iraq, iran, canada next

  • i live in usa..i been here 4 about 9 years..but i was deported 2 years ago..situation in usa for inmigrants its not very good..after im been deported d u still think goverment of us will allow me in..i dint do really nothing bad..just mainors shit..thank u.

  • in montreal only 3/5 of the teritory is use.

i live in montreal and we have SO MUCH space its incredeble. Canada Rocks

  • One thing that needs to be cleared up, is the point about Canada being very cold.

You might wanna adjust your comment there.

    Canada has four season.

    Spring: 15 to 20 degrees

Summer: 25 to 30(humidity rates are very high in Montreal, Toronto, Quebec and Ottawa, so 30 will often feel like 35)

Autumn or Fall: 20 to 10

    Winter: -10 to -30

  • are there also many south korean immigrants in canada? i'm a south korean so just curious.

  • I would like to leave Nigeria to move to canada. I am skilled but still is there space to me?

  • theres space for everyone who can bring something productive and beneficial to the country, come on over, youd be welcome

  • Canada is the best. And I live in England.

  • i never hear anything bad about canada like crime on the news and stuff like that

  • yeah, you dont, there isnt much crime in Canad,a until that whole decapitate the guy beside you on a bus thing that was pretty shocking, for sure.

  • I'd like to visit Canada a few times and if I like it I might move there but does anybody know if there's any beef against Mexicans up there? I hate going to the US now cause people immediately think I'm illegal cus I'm Mexican.

  • According to this lady You dont even have to speak english. let alone french.

  • i <3 toronto

  • hail canada long live canada

  • People who make 50 cents an hour in the 3rd world are not going to start demanding wage increases when they arrive in Canada. Canadian citizen's know what their labour is worth and won't budge any further. The Canadian Government has to wake up to the facts, and start doing the things necessary to bring Canada back on the road of success. We cannot survive off $10/hour anymore with this crazy inflation not being kept up with, time for immigration reform, even with Bill C-20, more reforms!

  • i have dual citizenship in canada and the US, i love both countries, but canada has some of the most polite people in the world(except at hockey games) good economy, very tolerant, cleaner cities than the US, you can make more money in the US if you are one of the top 1%, but for most people canada is a much nicer place, plus the rest of the world doesnt hate canada. ill give up my pistol, im movin back to Alberta

  • as many immigrants there are in Canada now its cant be worse than the USA Asians,Latinos (big issue),blacks straight from Africa now mixed populations are fine but there should be equal everybody and everything... Now i praise Canada for not having a lot of the racial issues U.S does personally i think there will always be racism against whites from blacks and in return racism from whites against blacks... I see this country going downhill and refuse to raise my future kids in this society!

  • would any of you Canadians mind if I keep my pistol on my belt under my shirt when I immigrate? It's my culture and you all are very tolerant of other cultures, right?

  • not all of us

  • Tolerance has it's limits Fockersnextdoor. Carry a gun under your shirt if you must, but pay the price for breaking the law.

  • of course you can not. we are not americans. that is a big part of the canadian identity. we don't live by the american 2nd amendment!

  • Canada is so cold.. beautiful country, nice people, great environment but just so so cold, even in toronto, blizzards snow storms come every year..

also, asians are flooded in toronto and vancouver..

I wish canada would be more temperate then it would be The best country to live:P

  • if the only "problem" is the cold to you, then it is PERFECT for me, cuz i love snow and cold!

i will immigrate as soon as possible!

  • Yeah, and Canada has affordable healthcare! We don't start stupid wars, and we don't have a shity foreign policy! Our education is better too! If only Americans were as well educated they'd not be involved in another war they can't win.

  • I agree, and thanks to our fearless dumbshit leader we have, we can thank Bush and Cheney for that.

Wow, looking over some of the comments on this board, it is no wonder we're hated even in a country as polite as Canada :-(

  • dont worry i dont hate you lol

  • i wish america was like that, sadly im trapped in america until im 18. im 13 and i hate my country

  • I somewhat Agree with you.....and I'm American, but the again,You insulting the county I love,I'm not going to stand For.....

  • What a difference between USA and Canada, isn't it?

I like Canada cos It's a country which has a great culture, very friendly and welcomed people, safe, clean etc... whereas USA is becoming worse everyday.I just feel sorry for many american people who didn't vote for that assassin,dumb,coward,electoral-cheater called George Bush.I can see how people in Europe are starting to hate USA and It's sad, because There wasn't such hate 10 years ago.I hope this change in the future.I trust Obama.

  • u took the words out of my my mouth, i am american and i love ur comment!

  • i trust Obama too, but i can not say i trust the american residents to make a realistic desician. It's as if the red states think the past 8 years have been a success or something..

  • Viva Canada! Fuck the U.S.A

  • hell yeah!!! I HATE MY COUNTRY!

  • This sounds exactly like the UK, Australia and well... all 26 countries in the EU.

But yeah. I want to go to Canada, but will always love the UK!

    :O)

    Rob xxx

  • You want to go to Canada, but you still love a different country? Man why you don´t stay, where you love the country? It´s in germany the same with the turkish people. "I make money in germany, but i still love turkey...turkey over all !" oO

Really strange. All about the money...what a spirit to the native land -.-

I don´t like my own country and so i will try to immigrate to canada, because i was there for 1 month and saw that the life there is better than in my country.

  • I was in Canada for a week but I liked it better there than what we have in the US now.

  • hi canadians we are here and forever

  • i heard pot is leagle there

  • it's not legal, it has been decriminalized before, but for the most part you can just smoke it and will not get in trouble. In the states you can face serious jail time with charges of possession, god forbid trafficking. Whereas i have had a conversation with cops while smoking joint before, haha

  • Come to Canada. enough said.

  • If this crap keeps up (the right-wing dictatorship hypocrisy) in my country (the U.S.), hopefully I can move to Canada!

  • Aperently, there is only 1 Employment for immigrants That my Friends is bell Canada Custormer service. 310-BELL Prove it wrong.

  • People who complain about excessive immigration are not racists, they are simply patriotic Canadian citizens who have a deep concern for the future of our country, and the problems which excessive immigration can have on our quality of life. Many immigrants are wonderful people, but our governments desire to flood the country with such large numbers is destroying our quality of life.

We are giving away the farm here in Canada, and it's bloody insanity.

  • Canada has one of the lowest population counts on earth. a few more people would'nt hurt us.

  • I would seriously move there if I could.

  • america is not violent, we just get a bad rap. it is sad cuz canada hates us and i feel sad...p.s. i hate my country

  • Thank you for the great information! My husband and I have already submitted our applications for immigration.

  • I completely agree. Caucasian people are so hard done by in this country. Everything is catered to Islamic and Chinese immigrants. I'm fucking sick of it. Especially since I personally don't want them here anyways!

  • Welcome to the North American Union

  • im going to canada next month from melbourne, australia....via usa

im so looking forward to my new home in canada

  • passionwagon, canada is a wonderful nation. toronto is the most diverse city on earth. we still have british ties however so you may feel somewhat at home (you get to gaze at the queen on the money) heh... it is also very very safe. i'm a young woman and i walk home at night in downtown toronto at 4 am all the time. never had a problem. don't know anyone who was ever robbed. vancouver is beautiful. toronto is great. montreal is magical. please come to canada. i'll show you around :)

  • Canda is the best country in the world. The safest, the most advanced society on earth, I cehsrish everything about Canada, and I am devoted to Canada, It is my future home

  • Are you Danish by ethnicity? If so, you are very welcomed here in Canada!

  • Quoi ? Qu'est-ce qu'elle a dit la Madame ?

  • french accent eh?

  • I will be moving there real soon I´m already there in spirit. Amen.

  • im looking at moving to canada from england im an engineer and also have done forestry work i have certificate. but i know nothing about plumbing or electrics can i still get in could i buy a nice home for 400.000. im just looking at minute but it looks a good country any comments appreciated good ones anyway lol

  • You could by a beautiful home for that much! Depending on where you live, the cities are more expensive (like everywhere). You sound like you would be a qualified immigrant no problem! And if you aren't, well there's something wrong with the system. Hope you come here! The English are always welcome here!

  • I have been thinking about the possibilities of moving there. There are so many issues I have with living in the U.S. I own 2 businesses in the U.S. that deal with surveillance technologies and am seriously thinking about living there. Thank you so much for this posting.

  • Please come to America and let all the immigrants know they can come to Canada to live. Bring many busses we will help you load them.

  • sure the video sound great, but if u come here ur gonna need job experience if not ur not get'n the pay u want, tax is higher here though, beer & cigarets cost more but u get a decent medicare but u pay 4 ur own med's unless u hav coverage, ppl r ok, if u move ne where move 2 southern Ontario & or Montreal area, there's more 2 do but ne where els is just as fine(im not hating on ne other provinces)

  • canada may have all these great things and i respect canada. it is a nice place but my true home lies here in the USA....ohio

  • Canadian Women are hot! I used to cross the border from Detroit all the time so I know first hand. Plus no President Bush!

  • I think Canada is the real symbol of the 'open arms' policy of multiculture. Blacks, whites, natives, asians, anyone is welcome and they hold up to their promise. In the USA they pretend to be open to cutures but are rather biggoted in the USA. They lie and say "we are not racist" and most Americans are racist. But in Canada they are far more educated about this subject. Canada is a very open minded friendly country! :)

  • No, Canada is TOLD they HAVE to be that way. Canadians themselves are not, however.

  • I agree completely. I have lived in Europe for 20 years and never felt at home due to racism etc. etc. etc, but when I traveled to Canada for the first time I felt at home. Now me and my whole family are moving to Canada to invest our future, and I will be starting University. I LOVE CANADA WITH ALL MY HEART AND I AM COMMITED TO CANADA. God Bless

  • Blacks, whites, natives, asians... what about arabics ? Many of them are not islamists, terrorists, drug dealers or barbarics as it's commonly said (Personaly, I'm not (I'm atheist) and I plan to live in Canada)

  • i dont know but i think arabics dont want to come to north america, close to the united states.

  • aha mexicans are no onger crossing the american border to get to america but to tring to get to canada:P

  • If we get anymore cowboys in leadership, i will be there fast!

  • even if I am proud to be canadian. Ive seen this report talking about immigrants that come here with the promise of a paying job. Doctor finish flipping burgers and the worse in all of that is that we need doctors. So my message to you immigrnats , id wait a few more years before coming or oyull be dissapointed because of this non sense.

  • i how hard is to get there i have tx drive licence can i just drive over rent hote and look for a job i have wife and 2children

  • hey i live in texas can i just drive with my family rent a hotel and star looking for ajob im serios about it

  • You can, but it's probably a little more liberal that Texas, just a warning.

  • Ahhh no. You have to actually apply as an immigrant. You are from USA and therefore still a foreigner. There is no guarantee you'll get in unless you have a skill or a higher form of education. It would help if you had a trade like an electrician or plumber since there is a huge lack of trades people up here. You'll make an excellent living up here if you're a trades person.

  • Dont go to Canada

go to Japan theyll love you.

  • The immigration system in Japan is the worst in the world. They don't allow anyone to be living there so long. You gotta kick out after one month. Go Canada!

  • Excellant non propiganda vid, being Canadian married to an american liveing in Ohio, Turst me world, This vids no lie,

the only 2 redeemibles that are better then Canada is cheep beer and smokes, Outside of that its dirty as hell and 3 times as ugly. I cant wait for my better half to retire so we can go home, And belive me im a leaver of America in a heart beat.

  • I live on Kaien Island on the west coast. We get rained on alot but the air is fresh. We have lots of wildlife in the area, eagles, whales, wolves, deer - everything but the whales run about in our backyards. The best thing about living here is that we get tons of visitors each year. So the world comes to our doorstep. I'm waiting for my yummmie Amsterdam treat to visit. Ik hou van jou, mmmy Mmmichael!!! I love you!!!

  • wait whales run around in your backyard???

whales are the largest animal and can't walk on land how does that work?

  • I wanna move from Holland to Canada, cause there is this incredible sweet loving woman, that came in my life living. I love you, my sweet Isabel!!! My heart is tottaly yourssssss!XXX

  • Dutch are always welcome in Canada! Us two countries have had such good relations since the Liberation of the Netherlands at the end of World War Two. Thanks for the flowers!

  • i have been in US and got my RN degree here because of messed up US immigration law i cannot stay here much longer. I want to move to Canada and get treated like anyone else. US has to do something very soon otherwise skilled immigrants will leave one by one and country left alone with illegal mexicans

  • don't be ....

    you criticized Mexicans

    are you American?

i think you are a immigrant like many other

    MEXICANS as you say

and your legal situation is not so different

    from many , many immigrants

    or Mexicans

    so think twice

  • those illegal mexicans as you call

bet they have the same situation as you do

and one more thing, its better to see a Mexican without a rag on the head

than a foreign visitor with a taliban treatening look

  • Why are people with headdresses considered threatening? Anyone can look threatening, the media just likes centering out that culture to create a stereotype to support the "war of terror". Just like the media did to Mexicans making EVERY Mexican in American feel like an illegal immigrant.

  • Canada now is my home, I love Canada!

    OOOOH Canadaaaaaaaaa!

  • Jubii, I am happy to hear that

    Canada is the best :-)

  • east or west

    canada is the best

  • amen

  • I am getting serious about moving to Canada. But at 36 I am worried about moving my pension/retirement accounts and well....getting used to the cold!

  • Cold can be bad but starving I think nobody gets used to it

  • I totally agree with what she said! Immigrate to Canada is good choice! But you can immigrate in a much more better country than Canada, Québec!

  • Quebec is a province of Canada. It's not it's own seperate country ...yet!

  • If Ron Paul doesn't win the election I will.

but then there's still the threat of the NAU...

  • Canadian are accused of organized littering and conspiracy to commit jaywalking

  • i dont litter but am an expert jaywalker!

  • None of this will matter when the North American Union becomes reality. Maybe, err hopefully the Mexicans will decide they like it better there.

  • The only people the Canadians do not want are white people that speak English

  • See....thats what Im saying. I wish they would just come out and say it already. Or at least offer me some free language upgrade courses....if I could even keep up.
