  • How do you determine 'legit patina"?

  • @NanhaiMarine Depends on the metal, but you can tell a bad patina job by looking like it was applied rather than accrued by age. Look for wear of the material and production techniques for the time period and you can avoid most fakes.

  • If it doesn't have legit patina on it, don't buy it.
