@LordGandor3 Oh really? Now you know me eh? I hunt deer and elk for the experience of being in the great outdoors and the chance to fill my freezer to feed my family. I don't "hunt" wolves, If I see one it eats a bullet so that more deer and elk and my livestock will live.
I am a big Ignite fan and Pennywise fan, been listening to them since I was just a young kid but I must say I can't agree with all of their messages,
growing up in a poor family we had close to nothing, we chopped wood to heat our house and at times never had anything to eat for supper, we relied mostly on deer and rabbits for food, setting snares weekly to feed ourselves, we also shot coyotes for their pelts and sold them to buy our vegetables, milk, sugar, etc. am I evil for wanting to live?
@forgedeath No, you aren't evil. I am a vegan b/c it's easy to not kill animals for food in my area of the US. if one lives in an environment that is inhospitable and there are no other options, then hunting for what you need is better than individuals buying meat, eggs, and dairy from factory farms for trivial reasons, not because of poverty or lack of reliable food sources. You may agree though that hunting for sport is not a form of survival. killing for fun with no respect for life.
@grimandfrostbittten I'm glad there's people like you who understand. Personally, I refuse to hunt for sport only. My grandparents rely exclusively on deer and other game for food, so my family and I hunt their land. I'll admit, I like hunting; the thrill is exhilarating. However, I don't prolong any suffering from prey. I only take shots that drop animals instantly or near-instantly. The one time I hit a deer in a non-vital organ, I had to slit it's throat personally. Respect nature, everyone.
