Bethel Woods, Sunday evening Sept 12th,2010. Dar invited this 11 year old girl onstage to sing this song. Dar accompanied HER. She couldn't have had a better "special guest". The young girl's poise and absolutely beautiful voice had the room spellbound.

@misterjynx When I was 9 1/2, I went to my first dar williams concert. I was in the front row and she talked to me in the audience. Then I got her autograph. Now I'm going to my 9th or 10th concert in november and I can't wait to see how well she performs :P

Such a worthwhile song. Can anyone imagine if we heard music like this on vh--1 and mtv? Maybe teenage girls would FINALLY be given a poetic voice that could help them discover how many of them feel and desire to articulate. Then the world would see that there is an audience of hopeful kids there who does not want their musical inspirations to be whores and sluts ever. Good to know there are many unsung young women out there still who know mtv is a still a machine to negative beyond words.
