People are always going to stare when you are dating outside your race. I live in NYC, real diverse place and yet when both of my black friends dated a white guy they got a lot of stares and a few rude comments from other black people. I am still confused as to why there are still people against interracial relationships in this day and age specially in NYC. Which is like a melting pot of cultures.

I've had been in an interracial relationship with a peruvian and we did got stares, stares could either mean "Wow thats cool" or "what the hell was she/he thinking?" I like Asian men, i grew up around them, became friends with some. But in terms of creating a relationship it never took place. I'm feeling a bit discourage though, but im a fighter and hopefully I can have that relationship. But great video!

Most think I'm PR and would simply ask, are you with him in shock, then state that's wonderful! Grant it it was a surfer community, who tends to be more laid back. And that mentality of "it's not the end of the world" is what made my day.

Race is not a big deal once people can see past that then they will be more open-minded. Culture differences can cause issues, but if two people really care for each other they can work through it. I've witnessed intercultural relationships that have worked just fine. Personally, dating someone with a different culture than my own brings more excitement to the relationship.

People are always going to stare when you are dating outside your race.
