  • I would've smacked her in the face

  • BITCH SHUT UP AND LET HIM TALK!!!!!!!!!!

  • annoying interviewer.

  • This chick is annoyinnggg...Peter is so patient with her.

  • Worst interviewer in the world? Yes. Shut the fuck up bitch, he's being interviewed because he's interesting. No one requests to interview you, for a reason!

  • Bad bad Interviewer

  • who is this moron interviewer... I am a big fan of the paypal gang, yet couldnt muster enough patience to finish watching it, it was torture listening to her stupid babbling...

  • Peter Thiel is my role model!

  • I'm a tv producer and I've done more interviews than I can count. The first thing they teach you is that (if you are off camera), you DON"T talk over the person you are interviewing. You're not oprah or barbara walters. zip it and let the man talk. i dont need to hear the uh huh, hmmm, etc.

  • he's adorable..i'd kiss him on the spot

  • stopped seeing this because of the interviewer

  • Smart man poor interviewer

  • Could have been an interesting interview...but the interviewer is a terrible listener.

  • thiel motherfucker

  • she has no idea what she says. she knows it, we know it, peter knows it.

the question is who gives her a mic and camera when the consensus obviously is she needs to get ambushed with a sock full of pennies.

  • SHUT A FUCK UP BITCH! LEMME LISTEN THE GUY YOU DAMNASS

  • She interrupts him, one rule-breaker in interviewing. The most important person in an interview is the one being interviewed.

  • why cant we get someone intelligent to talk to this great vc?

  • 10:20 "There is absolutely no bubble in technology"

I'll be sure to quote him once Facebook climaxes in its audience base and everyone goes to the next big thing.

  • RIGHT, RIGHT, SURE, YEAH, RIGHT, RIGHT, SURE...I CALL IT, YOU KNOW, JUST LIKE....

  • stop saying right and butting in you fucking bitch.

  • interviewer needs to shut up!

  • Don't understand the "mad respect" comments. He made one good investment and now he wants kids to drop out of school. Why is everyone ready to kiss his ass over that? People have their priorities mixed up.

  • I hate to pile on, but this interview really is astonishingly bad. Nails on a chalk board.

  • this reporter is horrible.

  • Mad respect for Peter Thiel. Interviewer is annoying as hell.

  • this chick needs to stop interrupting and stop her ahums and ahas - and stop finishing Peter Thiels sentences.

  • SO annoying

  • so she agrees with him? so what??! you obviously have a problem with women in general.

if michael moore were interviewing him, you'd side with him. yes you would.

  • What an annoying interviewer.

  • @namehoela I totally agree. She is trying to be 2 smart.

  • Comment removed

  • The interviewer caused me to tune out at 2mins.

  • Peter tipping is practiced in America make sure u tip your driver specialy when u r late.oops always late!!!!

  • She is opinionated which is granted, but if anyone wished to understand why some of us foreigners loathe certain american conversations - all they would have to do is listen to this girl speak. Youtube needs an 'interviewer/voice mute' function built into its service for these types of discussions :) thanks peter - your last comment was particularly interesting.

  • If I had to choose between having my teeth pulled out or having an interview with Kara Swisher, I'd be eating applesauce for the rest of my life.

I feel as if every question she asks Thiel is rhetorical because she either A) Cuts him off, B) Interjects by saying "right" every five seconds or C) Attempts to show her own personal "knowledge" of Valley/Web 2.0 buzzwords.

...still completely mystified why she spends 50% of the interview complementing Thiel, we all already know he's a badass!

  • At 6:40 in, PT talks about exponential growth...all such growth turns into a logistics curve as it saturates its niche (which may be as big as the worldwide population of 'net users, but not more).

More of a challenge is the time decay of novelty (also an exponential). Especially if, unlike PayPal, an offering doesn't make itself indispensible or set minimum-standard hurdles for everyone else.
