This is the famous aria "Mon coeur s'ouvre à ta voix" from "Samson et Dalila" by Saint-Saens, the Franch composer. Superb !

@DynastyMusic11: The first song is the aria "Mon cœur s'ouvre à ta voix" (My heart opens to your voice) from Camille Saint-Saens opera "Samson & Delilah". It is Delilah's response to Samson's continued overture to her of "Je t'aime" (I love you). Google the aria for a full translation. Sorry about the repeat.

Thanks for posting this. It is such a marvelous video with a glorious setting, with all the debutants in the opera house and beautiful camera work which makes her stupendous singing all the more enjoyable. She is one of the few singers today who looks as nobly as she sings. What a delight to listen to and watch!

Opera does not get better then this. In the performance she shows a new confidence like she has never displayed before. Her performance in Carmen was A+ but this is another level for her.
